Suggestions / Re: Boarder of the month!............

There are lots of people who probably deserve a nomination in the wake of Dreddcon.

Trout for suggesting the photo.
Max, for sending me poster mags he don't want no more ;)
PVS, for the free copy of Solar Wind he sent me after buying some of my stuff off eBay.

But the nomination has to go to...

Arthur Wyatt, for taking it on trust that I'd get round to giving him coins for a copy of Futurequake.

I live just down the road from El Spurioso - I'm currently in Wokingham, John Redwood's right-wing commuter Hellhole.

Moved out of Wembley two weeks ago, moving to Tufnell Park in August.

>you don't really find out if your fight throughout the whole game has produced the desired effect and you don't find out what happens to the characters, where they go from there, how the go one with their lives, they people they become.

Same as any other story since the dawn of man. What's wrong with an ending that doesn't slap you down and say "LOOK! THIS IS THE WAY IT IS!"?

>i want to find out more, though i fear that once again, everyone but cloud will fade into the background and will be there purely for fighting.

So you're saying that this movie won't actually further the story on, and we won't "find out what happens to the characters, where they go from there, how the go one with their lives, they people they become."

It's just pandering to fans in the worst way possible. It's just so unnecessary.

No, no, no, no, no, NO!

There really is no need for this movie.

Purely because they were my first 100 issues, 950 - 1050 will always be up there. Around then I think "The Pit" was on, as was some good Finn and Sinister Dexter.

/even more pedantic

Ond's been played by a scottsman, an australian, a welshman, an englishman and an irishmne

/pedantry ends

Surely there's got to be some kind of politically incorrect joke about racial stereotypes to be found there...

>There IS one special thats not included in the GN's, 'Tall In The Saddle'.

It's at the back of "All Hell's A'Coming"

I really liked the Salvation arc. A lot of people moan about it but they need the "six month gap" of Jesse separated from Tulip in order for her to learn about Cassidy. And it helped tie up Arseface nicely.

>When should I read the specials then.....?

In the tpb's, The Saint of Killers specials are after Cassidy tells Jesse how he became a vampire and before they go to New Orleans. Arseface and the Good Ol' Boys don't really matter when, as they just add some depth to the characters. In the collections they're lumped after the Saint.

The Cassidy special is collected just before New Orleans. Starr is after New Orleans, before Monument. And if my memory's still working, High In the Saddle is after Jesse and Tulip leave New York for San Antonio.

Freddie And Bob weren't really evil....if you keep reading you'll see they're not bad lads really.

Well, okay, they're involved in a load of hard drugs dealing, but you'll see what I mean when you get to it.

Paulie...not really a bad guy. I read it as a piss-take of all hard-ass cops in films and that.

You've still got Odin Quincannon to come...truly deviant evil if ever there was some. And Jody, Grandma and God are far more twisted than the rest of the feckers.

There is much envy on my part...you get to read it for the first time.

"My only REAL criticism is that he's taken the 'evil gay' characters to a level that makes Mills look balanced!!"

It's not even near the same! Starr is justa f*cked-up hombre from the first panel he shows up.

Preacher ending...didn't bother me in the slightest. A mighty end to a mighty comic.

A) Because everyone's too busy selling Shaun of the Dead progs.

Q) Is fare-jumping the train a damnation-esque offence?
