"And people wonder why I don't miss Glasgow at all."

OI! I will not stand for that kind of accusation. No way can that atrocity be blamed on this fair city.

Oh and in retaliation...Darius!

But why Dean Gaffney. Why,why, why? It did get a good joke about the ugly face of the city but WHY?
I'd much rather they just made up names than horribly date stories in this way.

I really don't like it when blocks are named after the current celebrity of the month as I think nothing dates a story quicker. I don't mind historical figures, worldwide famous peeps or literary characters. I mean why would a mega-city, based in the USA in the far future have a block named after Dean Gaffney? You could argue its a different guy but that one doesn't wash with me. If I re-read that in 20 years I'm sure I'll be (hopefully) hard pressed to remember who he was.

So with rant over, this ones probably been used but...I'm with Sawney Bean Blockers!!!

Hmm. So the Meg finally makes an appearance.
A lengthy Dredd which is just ok, apart from the art which is lurvley.
Devlin was so twisty-turny it just got silly. You're not human! gasp!
Jack Point story was just the right side of up its own aresness. Usually these self referential tales ruin what's been built up before it but this one landed on its own feet.

Oh and in the Meg article are all the artists meant to sound like the Wurzels?

"I were up all noit drawing that. It were good (ooh arr ooh arr)."

Overall a very much missed opportunity.

"Would now be a good opportunity to put back the mags schedule a week or two? "

Then we can celebrate it being 15 years & 3 weeks old!

Sorry if that seems a bit arsey but the situation is really getting to me. Satanist no well work without thrills.

Anyone get this in the shops or are you all snooty subscribers who live in castles and eat gold? I think my first letter to the Meg will be a complaint.

"but the game cube sucked so..."

I wouldnt say that as it has some really good games just not much support from other developers.

If you mean the controller then you are wrong as it has the best analogue sticks of all the current consoles. If you dont believe me try playing Monkey ball on PS2 or Xbox.

Oh and Im not a fanboy as I own all 3 machines.

Even though I admit Slaine is well past its best I'd much rather another one than say BecNKawl which does nothing for me at all.

At least Slaine sure has some purdy pikchas.

"Another movie moan, what's so great about Brazil?, it's just a rip off of 1984"

Right thats it. Go and face the wall at the back of the class and dont return until youve realised Brazil is FUCKING GENIUS.
