Resi just isnt Resi without the shit-speak. Playing through the HD re-remake its nice that they update the utterly dire original chat to some just-a-bit shit chat.

Well I'm still hanging in with Rogue Legacy and can confirm that I now survive a whole 30 mins. Beat the 1st and 2nd boss at the weekend and am gearing up to take out the 3rd. It explains nowt at the start so now Ive worked out how armour and skills work it should be a breeze 

I notice in that quote that theres no mention of the Lizard people AND Moore worships a snake god. What exactly IS he hiding behind that beard eh?

Papers Please was given to me as a Christmas present and this game is awesome.  Playing a game that is based around a repetitive bureaucratic task has never been more engaging and challenging.

Super Meat Boy is pretty well constructed but failed to blow my mind as the hype around it would suggest.

LIMBO did manage to impress me.  A simple, dark and macabre puzzle platform game, this is amazing fun at a nice pace.  Reminded me a little of Heart of Darkness and Abe's Odyssey.

Papers please is a great game. Makes you think about your actions and reminded me of an old C64 game called Killed until Dead which I loved.

Super Meat Boy was AWESOME! When I completed it I almost wept tears of pure joy and hugged my son who was watching. "Ive done it!, its over" I cried! 

Limbo is good too but I feel the visual style covers up for the gameplay a tad. Still worth anyones time though.

Im playing Rogue Legacy at the mo which is a bit like Ghosts & Goblins crossed with an RPG lite. When you die that dudes gone forever and you restart as one of their children and enter the castle again, except the castle is random so not the same as before.Its ROCK.FUCKING.HARD!!!

I think I'm getting the hang of it now that Ive unlocked some equipment and powers though and really enjoy something I can stick on for 15 mins at a time (and die 20 times in the process).

For my money this weeks Dredd is the best looking one yet. That final page is fantastic and the rest is no bad either 

Rest of the prog is trundling along but its only really Dredd holding my attention.

All 5 seasons of Community just in Netflix, hadn't seen it yet, and some of you rating it good.

Watch first 3 series, forget the rest.

Looking at that petition I just cant help think that Grants Morrisons signature was much cleaner and vibrant when he was first starting out in 2000AD. Guess now hes a big shot his hearts just not in it anymore 

On a different note, my copy of Mechanismo says its no 24 on the spine.  That's confused me a bit.

Hachete publish collections out of order so you don't just buy the first 5. It's to piss off the obsessives.

I think that's just a dismissive attitude to take - that someone's only as good as their last work.

If I started doing a half assed job my firm is not going to keep me on just because I knocked it out the park when I started. Though I dont know how they would react if I started drawing tits on their accounts I dont imagine it would be good.

Surely the greatest 2000AD related unanswered question is What does Dredd look like unmasked?

I hope it stays that way forever.

I would also like to see him back in the prog...to fill in all the backgrounds he forgot to draw the last time.

As a kid I read and reread that article in one of the old annuals on how he drew Dredd. Mind blowingly good stuff which I tried to ape on several occasions and failed every time. The man WAS great on Dredd and Halo but towards the end his heart just didnt seem to be in it. I say let it go and be thankful for what we got.

If I exist in the future knowing all history and come to the conclusion that it must have been us that communicated through time saving ourselves there is still no need to actually do it. Surely I can just say I'll send that wormhole back through time next week,month or year. I still havent done it and yet it still happened and Im still existing. AND I dont need to hope some idiot falls into a blackhole.
