Interstellar - Roughly 3 hour slog towards an ending that makes no sense. to me. Anyone seen this and can check out what I got out it below...

HEAVY DUTY SPOILERS AHOY...

SERIOUSLY BELOW IS THE ENDING OF THE FILM>>>
So it wasnt aliens but humans from the future who have evolved into 4 dimensional beings. They sent a wormhole back in time so that some dude can travel through it and hopefully stumble into a black hole. They then want to comminicate with his daughter using him as a conduit so they can inspire her to save humanity when she grows up.

Even though their very existance proves that humanity must have survived without their intervention and that at the very best they are fannying about with their own history.
Is that about right? If so then thats pish and I will return to insert the word shit into the films title. If not then I probably missed a bit while I nipped out for a smoke.

I completed the game at about 2am and promptly fell asleep during that scene so have no idea what the ending was and I have zero interest in checking it out on youtube.

I really enjoyed the PS4 prologue as it does away with most of the watching and just lets you fuck about as you please. I have no interest in the next in the series though.

Oh and Psycho Mantis is the best boss fight evah!!!!

Great cover, lovin Dredd but the rest is all a bit meh to me.

And surely paper is better than digital because the artist can sell it afterwards and get paid twice for the same job!

Film & TV / Re: Walking Dead - coming from TV to comic

I've read all the comics so far and my main impression for a long time now is that its a soap opera that happens to be set in the zombie aftermath. So much so that when almost every issue ends on a cliffhanger I cant help but hear the Eastenders end theme.

Someone gets bitten by a zombie on final panel....

BAM...BAM-bam-Ba-ba-dam!

I actually like the show a lot more and half think I buy the comic just out of habit now.

WNUF Halloween Special - Found footage film done right. The set up is that someone taped the show when it was first broadcast in the 80's and this is a copy of that tape. No titles, local news stories and even has fake 80's style ads inbetween. The main show is about an anchorman, priest and some psychics going into an old, abandoned house which has a grusome history.

Not great as horror or comedy but did entertain just by being really well faked. I'm gonna watch it again at halloween with the kids and tell them its real

May I add Cabalistics Inc to that list? One of my very faves from when I started back.

Is this out in the wild yet? Looked in a few places today and not a sniff.

What was Battlefield 4 like? Good to get?

Not played it in a few months but keep meaning to go back to it. Multiplayer is really good fun IMO , utter mayhem!

Well I played this last night and was surprised how much I'd forgotten since I last played on the Gamecube. Started as Chris but think that was a mistake so will prob restart as Jill for first play through.

New controls work well and you can still go old skool and use the tank controls if you prefer. As I played the orginal not long ago its nice to see what they added and mixed up abit when they redone it.

Hope the rumours of RE Zero HD come true as I never played that one.

Flint is one of my most favourite regular artists working in 2000ad today. And considering the competition thats some good going. Love Zombo and it always feels like a wee treat when hes on Dredd.
