Yers, I'm watching 2 and 3 simultaneously. I love the amount of cool nods as well. There's also the way that things happened so early on that still haven't been explored. Like in one of the early episodes when Clark was floating in his sleep, and woke up crashing to the bed but didn't know if he was dreaming or not...

Some lines are fantastic though. And am I the only one who thinks Lana is way too goody-goody and looks like a doll? Chloe is the hot one in the show fer me.

That's been SO fantastically handled.... Apparently the friendship ENDS for good, quite badly at the end of series 3 (about to air in the US).

I just love the fact that for most of it Lex is such a nice, cool character that you don't WANT him to be evil!!!

I have a question. I don't expect everyone here to share my views (or even respect them, - I know it's wrong) but I can't stop watching Smallville.

A friend of mine told me to watch it, and I refused. Then I accidentally watched the pilot, and found I was hooked. Maybe I just like watching his powers develop, knowing what'll happen in the end. Maybe a part of me wants his powers, maybe it's just a darn good re-imagining.... Something has drawn me in. Just fninished series 1, starting on 2 (downloading them so I can view them in the right order.

So, anyone else found this show drew them in? No comments about the god-awful Batgirl series please. Smallville only.

And additionally, to save time, has anyone got series 2 and/or 3 on their computer? I can send CDs for them...

Cover : Fantastic in my opinion. I was recently made aware of how great the covers that look like they're part of a story are, and this does just that. It could be a panel in the story. It could also be better, but I like it a lot as it is.

Droid life : Wonderful stuff. Lovely little gag, delivered with great personality. I continue to read this before anything else, not just because it's at the front.

Dredd : Fan-bloody-tastic. It should be in a throwaway manner, but something - maybe the song? - gives it that little bit more.

Savage : Oh god. The worst thing in the prog by a LONG way. Simply because the history stuff was TERRIBLE in my opinion. Still, not too disheartened. I can see it picking up and getting WAY better.

AHAB : Mmm, wonderful. It's just what I hoped it would be but doubted it would. It's a compelling story, inspired by Moby Dick but not tied to it.

Lowlife : I think this could be good, but I really dislike the main character. Just not my sort of character. This might make it harder for me to enjoy.

Chopper : I shall repeat the above comments: Smashing. Its just that simple.
It really is!

Does this REALLY need so many threads?

Just saying, it could easily carry on in one thread.

I don't know, I thought the 'jumping off buildings into a walk' part was good. And KB is great.
