There was one with a hitchhiker accepting a lift and killing the driver and the car went either backwards or forwards in time..freaky is not the word

Just read that one recently.
A driver picked up a female hitchhiker who had just escaped from a mental hospital.
She killed the driver who was an old woman, and the car started to travel through time

She went to the end of time, and continued, not totally understanding what was happening. Time bagan again, being circular, and she kept going. She grew older and older until eventually she was desperate for company. As an old woman she pulled up outside a mental hospital to let a hitchhiker in...

Bloke gets this house of the future like place it's run by a computer. It caters for his every need and has every luxury you can imagine (including a vr type thing were he can be in the best seats for the cup final). But when he tries to leave the house won't let him - electrifies the door... I think he tries to get away several tims but he can't get out. He breaks down sobbing. The house consoles him telling him it will look after him.... forever!

Then we see the house getting him up in the morning taking him into the shower etc. There's a final reveal and it's a skeleton in a bath robe... pretty tame now but when your are an impressionable nipper... I still shiver thinking about it.

Whaaaaaaaaat?? Drokkin history, everything HAS been done. My newly finished one was way too similar to this, though it had more jibes about Windows style errors, and a 'gag' twist really, but....

Shiv, back to the drawing board...

The trailer looks pretty lame doesn't it? Still, it's 2000AD being there YEARS before the rest of the world once again!

No, you didn't give me Necropolis because Book 1 wasn't there. Managed to track one down quite cheap thru the magic of the net...
An old library copy I think...
With pages LITERLLY ripped out. Small fragments still there...

It hurts me, it physically hurts me...

I have, believe me...

But I'm just glad to read it!
There turned out to be... 6? or 7 missing pages... so 12 or 13 ACTUAL missing pages.

Drokkin eejits.

Well, with Oddboy's help it looks like I've got most of my missing stuff.
However, I still needs copies of the following pages:

In 'Tale Of The Deadman', I have the page where Kraken says 'You were a good Judge once, but your time is over old man' then there's a rip and the next page I have is Dredd delivering his recommendation that begins with Odell sayin 'Chief Judge, I protest most vehemently'

I'd guess it's in the final or penultimate episode...

The next missing page is the one after that. Dredd looks at the letter again, while tidying up his loose ends. The page ends 'Words... Just words'

RIP

The next page I have begins with CJ Silver saying Dredd can retain his Lawmaster, and shows Dredd ride off into the Cursed Earth. So whatever two pages came between that I need!
Pretty sure that'll be in the final installment...

Has anyone got copies and/or access to a scanner?

HELP!

I FINALLY tracked down a copy of Necropolis book 1 - damn near impossible to find round here - and bought it. It's great and all, but some complete funker has ripped out 4 pages!!!

If anyone has the original progs etc from this era, I'd really appreciate scans of the 8 missing pages! Just to read them till I can get a replacement (not an easy task!!)

Cheers

What is this show? I've never seen it. Though the devilish sherriff reminds me of Steven King's Desperation...

Moby Dick's a great book, but I'm not sure about AHAB. It seems ok, but it's going to have to be something more than a brief 'Moby Dick in space' to satisfy me...

This thread is typical of the kinda stuff we get round here... Odd rants about ideas, jokes about the most immature things possible, and friendliness!
