Hello, it's me again.

Feel a bit of a tit. I've just realised it's the 'Warrior's Dawn' collection I've seen, not the 'Books Of Invasion'. Sorry if I got your hopes up.

De-lurking:

Hi Amstor. Ottakars in Norwich has a few copies of the Slaine book and they've had them for a while so it's definitely out. If you have an Ottakars in your town maybe they could order one from the Norwich branch if they can't get one direct from their suppliers?

Porco from Slaine was wearing Obelix's trousers and then Asterix got a mention on the letters page. Would you Adam and Eve it?

Hi everyone. Any chance someone could put up a scan of the pic from Vendetta In Gotham where we see Dredd's fist in Batman's face? I really need it tonight if possible. It would be much appreciated! Cheers. Happy New Year!

Well that's true I suppose although they normally point out that Dredd has bypassed the self destruct. Who cares anyway? It's a great story.

Hello all, I've been a lurker for a while but this thread reminded me of something I was thinking about recently so I thought I'd chip in. Slightly off topic I'm afraid but why is it that when Orlock steals a Judges uniform at weather control he is also able to use the Judge's Lawgiver?

Everyone on Trisha should be gassed to death. And someone should tell her it's easy to be self righteous when you're talking to the scum of the earth who can't stop shagging anyone off the council estate who pops round to borrow some skag. They only go on the show for the free DNA tests. F**king scumbags. It's filmed in my city aswell, I'm ashamed to say.

Not too bothered about the helmet thing personally. It would be nice if he kept it on for most of the film but I don't mind if it comes off now and again. We're all gonna know what the actor looks like anyway right?

I can't really see any new Dredd films getting off the ground anyway at the moment. Personally I'd like to see a Rogue Trooper film. Rogue isn't my favourite strip by a long way but I think it would translate well into a film. Just make it an action romp like Aliens.

Hello all! I've posted a few times over the past month or so but I haven't formally introduced myself. I'm 27 years old. I got into 2000ad when I was about 7 or 8 from reading a load of Titan books which my brother had borrowed. Been reading 2000AD since the mid to late 80's. Stopped reading in the late 90's and have just got back into it. At the moment I'm really enjoying all the thrills, and there seems to be a good balance in 2000ad and the Megazine between new stuff for new readers and nostalgia for the older generation of squaxx.

I thought Horseflesh was the name of the character. I think that's what one of the characters in 'Time Bandits' is called aswell.

They should make a Dredd cartoon and tie in a 2000AD junior comic to that. They could quite easily adapt some of the less mega-violent stories for a cartoon. Chopper for example. They could even do stuff like Judge Death if it was handled correctly.
