all this talks of volumes have me confused.

i have always been lead to belive, by the always infalibal knowlege of guys in comic shops, that only 6 issues of A1 were made.

anyone able to give a more acurate publishing history? i know some of the characters started off in warrior, then went to A1, did things such as the warpsmiths and Bojjefries turn up else where also?

appologies to those concerned when i spell their names wrong

Dredd- Wagner,Murry
Zirk- Steve Moore, Bolland
Halo Jones- Alan Moore, Gibson
ABC Warriors- Mills, Flint and Bisley in black and white
Nicoli Dante in a story which has something to do with the biger picture, not just filler- Morrison, Burns

hmm, just noticed the middle three cstories would all end up being black and white. ah well, in that case i add full colour droid life!

>I recommend Yuggoth as a name

i thought Pluto was Yuggoth?
and if this new one is Mondas, would we be able to rename ALL the planets with cool sci fi names?

in futurama Uranus got changed to Urectum to avoid the crap joke, any other name changes out there?

it was mentioned on the back of the early Best of 2000AD, on those things where you had to put a couple of the issues together to make a great big poster or something.

I always thought that there were a couple of different explanations offered by different characters at various points, (with the corperation one being the most prominent), to give the view that none of the soldiers really knew why they were fighting the war in the first place

darkness doesent always make something "adult". it can however make things "angsty" which isnt always good. a well thought out story that amuses, enlightens or provokes thought while still remaining light harted in tone is more worthy of the term "adult" than something which simply contains a lot of violence and swearing just cause the writter wanted it to be "gritty". Im not saying that dark gritty comics are bad, but some peole can make such things ressemble purile shallow trash.
