Ah but any film that has Terry Thomas in it is worth a watch :-)

It's the extras that interest me on this one. I wish they would release further details of what's on there - I don't want to waste my money if there's just a film which I already have on dvd.

Bit harsh to Blues Brothers 2000 there Kev - the music is just as good, as are the cameos. The story is just as slight. The only real difference is having John Goodman instead of Belushi.

I'm watching 70's Doc Savage right now (starring Ron Ely) and loving it!

If you havn't tried the PARAGON anthology then this book (along with the Icarus Dangerous collection) are a great introduction to its world of heroes. I really don't think you'll be disappointed - the stories are as great as the art!

It is a tasty little book isn't it?  ;)

Nice pic there, filip - if you fancy a crack at him in a strip, I'm sure that can be arranged  :)

Finally got to read this and thought it was great. I'm not a big fan of Millar's work but thought this was a well handled spin on things. Nice art too. I'm looking forward to future instalments.

Quite saddened by Dickson Wright's death. She had such a fascinating life and I loved her on TV - always ploughed her own furrow, regardless.

It's only the first two that are laugh out loud funny. The others are more like Tales of the Unexpected

Apologies to Mr. Broughton for not pimping his wares - I didn't have a picture on photobucket to put up here, but his work is definitely included in the Compendium!

As Spencer Nero himself says in his introduction
Quote1936 was a busy year for the Civil Centurion – at least four separate Nazi plots foiled, an attempt on the Eiger, trips to Berlin, Tanzania and South America, and a moral victory at the Olympics. By Jupiter's jockstrap – it's quite a life!
