Cautiously optimistic. The best Gaiman comic is 1602 because it still remembers to be a fun superhero romp so if Neez is in romping mood all could very well be copacetic. BITCH.

Well said my man.

You can also hear the chorus of both Grant Morrison & John Smith's, "OOOOO PICK ME NEXT! PICK ME!!!" down here in Auxtralia.

Young Stevie could have sworn that Marine Boy was, in actual fact, a girl.

I have.
Total Aterix rip-off.
And not even funny for a second; it's like he's not even trying.

Compound that with the lift straight from
Aliens
in the following pages? Ennis pulled a bit of a Millar with that issue.

Been re-reading some Devlin recently. I honestly think he's the most terrifying character ever to appear in 2000 AD.

Backs to the wall eh Roger?  ;)

In grade 4 my best friend Ante told me, "There was a man who didn't pick his nose...

...AND HE DIED."  :o

tricia yates off grange hill.

Mate, you know that you've grown up when you can no longer have a crush on Felicity Kendall yet find a young Penelope Keith strangely compelling

Now here is an interesting one - Diamond have now said that, if it is featured in Previews then they'll honour the order (although they might start cutting future editions out of Previews if orders are too low):

www.bleedingcool.com/2010/01/27/diamond-will-now-honour-comic-book-orders-even-if-they-fall-below-minimum-levels/

I presume this will make a difference.

Now there's an intriguing turn up for (ahem) the books.

Anybody know when this policy took effect?

2) Under Rebellion, a production screwup has left a small, teeny image of the cover of The Droid Files laying on top of the sample art for Dredd Meg # 297.  That's right, they canceled it, and yet they still show it off.

The very same thing leaped out to me whilst I was picking up my December pack this morning. Cancelled you say?

Both 2000ad & the Meg receive newsagent distribution here in Auxtralia, although they're further behind Diamond at a comparatively similar price. The trades aren't available in bookshops over here.

Like Grant, I want to support my local shop. It's current owners are personal friends of mine; Pete & Mikey are hard working guys with families to keep in ringtones etc.
I don't abide much with those fancy superheroes but I want to help these guys as much as I can.

There's a few of us who get 2000ad & the Meg this way; more than some Dark Horse & Wildstorm titles as I've noticed when Diamond's weekly shipment is unpacked. There's definitely a greater demand than for anything in the Johnny DC line, which is another disturbing trend in itself.

i also want to actively demonstrate to Diamond that there is demand for 2000ad products. When I pre-order my trades Mike & Pete will often get in another for the shelf.

But this inset... that has well & truly got my gander up.

I think it's 1664, 1665 and THEN Prog 2010.  It being a bit more pricy and thicker, you might be getting a three prog pack this time out.

Calloo! Callay! Diamond are shipping the December pack to Auxtralia this week! Plus the remainder of my local's order of Prog 2010.

Still no hide nor hair sign of Robo-Hunter Case Files  ::)

if Stevie were to draw a 'tache in marker pen on all of the characters in his prog would that count?

Here in Chicago we haven't received the December pack but they have skipped ahead to prog 2010.  Actually I didn't get mine, there are two of us at the shop who order it and they only sent one copy!

Same here in Auxtralia: Prog 2010 undershipped before the December pack.

Now both 2000ad & the meg receive newstand distro in Auxtralia, although the newsagents are further behind a price comparable to what Diamond charges. Plus my local comics shop was bought by 2 of my friends, so I want to give them as much of my custom as I can.

Who are you ordering yoyr trades through now Grant?

ROBO-HUNTER: THE DROID FILES VOLUME 1

(W/A) John Wagner, Alan Grant (A) Ian Gibson
Sam Slade used to be one of the best robo-hunters in the business, but he's getting old - and old means slow (and dead). That is until Sam takes on the biggest case of his life. Robo-Hunter: The Droid Files brings readers a bumper volume of the tales of everybody's favourite Sci-fi P.I. Featuring never-before-seen material, this is one thrill-packed tome that fans of classic 2000 AD will not want to miss. ($24.99)

Stevie's still waiting on the December pack solicited at the same time, so he hasn't completely abandoned all hope  ::)
