Film & TV / Beasts

I've never seen it, but it's supposed to be a minor  classic and it's by Nigel 'Quatermass' Kneal -- it's out on DVD at the end of June.

And at long last GBH is coming out on DVD as well ... brilliant for the Who convention stuff alone.

CGI annimated short film ... it's Open Source, made from Open Source software for those that care about such things

Don't expect much of a plot but it's got some nice surrealist imagery

Bit of nightmare to download - the US servers are obviously being hammered - but I got the lower rez version off the Amsterdam server ok.CGI animated short film ... it's Open Source, made from Open Source software for those that care about such things

Well Shebaz is a totally annoying 'look at me!' freak but the award for the most loathable house-mate has to go to poor little Nikki for having hysterics because she has not got a change of cloths and -- horror of horrors! -- have to drink tap water!

It's currently the clip of the day on the official site if you missed it...

In Iain Banks The Crow Road (which I'm currently re-reading) Prentice pesters his mother to buy him a Judge Dredd Annual when they are seeing his uncle Rory off on a trip.

(I'm sure there was another thread for this sort of thing but I can't find it)
