First time I had haggis it was pretty horrible, like mince and porridge  mixed together with a load of pepper dumped in. But I've had it a couple of times since and it was nice, more like a spicy mince sausage. I think the first time (in a rough-ish pub in Fort William) was an aberration.

I don't like neeps at all, and would substitute mashed carrot and parsnip instead (which is ace)

breaking a hull of the sub is bad idea... leading to  water leaking in under high pressure, or if there is a substantial pressure difference (like the sub is at or below it's 'crush death') I'm sure I've read somewhere the oxygen ignites throughout the vessel (not pleasant)

Though I don't know if a bullet from a small arms weapon would be enough to breach the hull (or cause enough damage to significantly effect the local structural strength)

Oh adn apprerntly they did/do have lots of small arms on subs though I can't find any details on russain subs (other than they had any)... like in the K-19/Widowmaker incident they through nearly all the small arts overboard beacause hthey were worried about a mutany...
