"The 62-year-old artist was reported missing by his wife Kathy Russo, reports the New York Post. Russo reported Gray's disappearance to the police Sunday, Jan. 11 at 10 AM, explaining that the writer disappeared after he returned home from the movies with their two young children.

Gray, who was been depressed since he suffered head injuries in a car accident in Ireland in 2001, has attempted suicide on two occasions. In October 2002 the entire run of his solo piece, Black Spot, at P.S. 122 was canceled when Gray checked into a mental hospital. At that time, Gray had been found near his Long Island home contemplating a jump from a local bridge. The police and his wife talked him down. "

Looks like the Swimming to Cambodia guy is missing presumed dead. Shame.

And if you've not seen Swimming to Cambodia... well it's a great, if odd, movie. Some of his later work is not so good but Swimming is a cracker. And it's all true (well except for the banana obviously)

Help! / Re: Anyone recommend a PC supplier...
19 January, 2004, 10:02:59 PM
Just bought a PC off Mesh which seems (after a couple of months) to be all right. They seemed a very profesionak set up. Also good after sales service when one small part was found to have been damaged in transit.

Time used to use cheap and nasty parts (don't know if they still do). Dell have had problems with them in my past professional life and with my last PC.

My first PC was a Viglan and it's still chugging away (my dad uses it for his accounts and the odd letter) but I think they are long gone.

Hmmmm your description don't sound like the From Beyond I remember... but then I did watch it, over ten years ago, at a party with the sound off, music blasting away, blind drunk. Best way to watch a film like that. And it was still rubbish.

Even the high-trousered one sounds like he's sick of it... "They be 1 or possibly 2 who can make it, out of 40 000. Of course they all think they are brilliant. And I have to sit through it"

That's a bad one... the first one I watched too...

Large exposure does diminish the impact somewhat but I was still laughing outloud (and feeling slightly guilty for doing so) on the last one.

And I love the site disclamer...

Why can't more cartoons be like this...? You know like actually entertaining and funny and stuff. Of course it would give kids like long traumas but never mind...

Sponge Bob can kiss my arse! Though his pet snail is cool... ;-)
