Viz once had a 'Sub-editor's challange' to see what headlines they could get published in local papers... one classic was some like "Enormous Erection provokes anger" ... about the sighting of a mobile phone mask.

Soot under fingernails? Nail brush and soap... really dig fingernails into soap first.

I hate to worry you but carbon can leave permanent marks on/under the skin esp in combination of cuts and grazes? it?s a speciality of coal miners (there?s nickname for it up north??blueskin??)

Tik Tack (not too sure of the spelling) is a sign language used by on-course bookmakers in order to signal to each other when odds change...

There's nothing wussy about cooking... the best british spy of all time was a dab hand in the kitchen. The best chefs are blokes as well.
