The Tardis dematerialisation effect at the end was shockingly bad! They did a better job back in the 70s.

And the punishment things were very off. The Doctor should never be such a nasty bastard.

There was some other rubbish like nasal ventriloquism or whatever it was supposed to be, but overall a good episode.

Just coming in here to post that...

It is good news that they are not going to flog it to death until it completely outstays it's welcome. Yes, X-Files I'm looking at you.

New Zealand should just see sense and turn the whole country into a Lord of The Rings theme park. With perhaps just a small enclave put aside for its existing culture: ie rugby, bungee jumping and sheep.

Completed Mindless Violence and it gets to be pretty good fun at the end.

There's a few of those kill things, rebuild wall, buy guns type of games around. But I've found after a few rounds they get a bit boring, imho.

Saw that trailer a bit back ... I was deeply shocked that something with the dreaded Billy 'Live a lotto' Connolly actually looked really good.

That Dutch kidney donation show has been revealed to be a hoax... designed to raise the profile of the issue in the Netherlands (or raise the profile of the tv station broadcasting it...)

Not watched any BB yet... I actually feel mildly proud of that. Though I bound to crack at some point (probably the first time Brooker covers it)

I'm growing my hair out... Not had it cut since before Christmas. It's just starting to get past Mellor and is heading towards hippy / rocker.

Look you can't moan about witch covens bringing young women over from Ireland for sacrifice and slaughter chickens in the woods and summoning devil hounds or god knows what and then slag off the church for ringing it's bells on a Sunday. I mean how else are they going to keep the EVIL away?

Well if you really want to nit-pick I was more annoyed than I really should have been that during the machine gun scene there was a village clearly seen off in the background... I'm no expert but I think bullets from guns such as that can travel a fair distance and they had no sandbags or whatever behind the targets. I'm not sure killing a few locals would be good for the schools reputation...

Oh and they can fuck off with the Docs magic bowling skills...

Errr I though the idea of the watch was to have it near and be able to opening it quickly in emergencies so he can do a quick change back...

One of the better eps this series I thought with, as usual, the double episode allowing more room for manoeuvre

Hearing Mark Kermode's impassioned rant against PoC3 actually raised some, previously non-existent, curiosity on my part to see it... can it really be as bad as that?

Though I've not got around to seeing 2 yet on the reputation of it being a bit duff. The original was a fairly entertaining romp but hardly brilliant

No, but 'Making Your Mind Up' was all about the 1979 general election.
