Yeah, didn't they also show a clip from when the band was on Razamatazz in the first series during the 'trainee day' episode..."What's your favourite fantasy?"

Can someone rip if off the DVD?

The band was called Seona Dancing (he also managed Suede and a Queen tribute band at one point)

They only released 2 singles: 'More to Loose' and 'Bitter Heart' No Album.

This is the best I could do picture-wise

General / Re: Scojo's age query

There used to be a link to the 'last messages of Scojo' but you can still search for his drivel. Just imagine something really really offensive, the worse you can imagine and that's how he was at the end. He would say something totally obnoxious, then when people complained, say he was only joking. At times he could be almost human but not for long.

He would post innumerable 'new script' coming soon messages. When he finally posted the script and asked for and got advice he claimed everyone (including several pro droids) was wrong and he was brilliant. He then got into a real strop when it became all too obvious that Rebellion were not beginning of the end. He was soon ranting and going to use his scripts... and was soon swearing at various Rebellion staff and others on the board and in the chat room... I seem to remember he called someone an ?aids carrier? at one point? charming. He was then warned which sent him ballistic, he actually asked to be banned and was.

His twatishness kept a lot of people away, myself included.

He still posts to the newsgroup and turns up on the IRC chat night. Last I heard he apologised and said he was going away for ever (again), but he's made more comebacks than Sinatra

He's just a sad attention seeker, and I would feel sorry for him if he wasn?t so annoying, The board is a lot better place without him

Apparently he's now moved on to Bond fandom...

His age? I'd guess late 20s early 30s, physically that is... emotionally he's about 7

General / Re: Garth Ennis. Fair play to him....

Oh feck... Preacher had a such a rubbish ending. Five years, I read that! Five years! It varied between 'eh, can't you do a it better Garth' to the "this is excellent!" But the ending! Could have done a better job myself.

Feck off Ennis... That thing you did about the Troubles in Crisis was the best thing you ever did and it was downhill from there.

"Y'see? Will Young my ARSE. I'd like to him being so spikey and freaky, the big-lipped pillock."

Me thinks the man doth protest too much ;-)

Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan is one of the best books I've read in a long time... puts the noir back into cyberpunk with plenty of the old ultraviolence.

Also check out China Mieville's Perdito Street Station and The Scar. They?re fantasy but damn good dark and gritty fantasy. The huge Ash by Mary Gentle, which is basically the length of four normal novels, is a great historical fantasy that turns into something else. Well worth the time spent reading it. Avoid the equally huge Hamilton doorstops which do not return the time spent on them.

Presume with a name like Dounreay you know all about Banks and Macleod.

I'm currently a quarter the way through M John Harrison's new one Light ... to early to tell as yet but in the words of the immortal Tap - it's real close between clever and stupid...

Oh well, at least it's still there...

The other question is, who's going for a curry after?

Is the big one some sort of shop display thing then? Like those huge animated swiss army knives they have in the window of hardware shops (or was that just a nightmare?)

"and the weird little animations you get in Rainbow!"

Wow! I'd forgotten about those... can't beat the slow drawing of a house accompanied by the sound of a road drill.
