Sorry to hear about the cat being in a bad way, Grim.

SBT – that kind of stuff is so annoying. Stupid busybodies. There was an Esther Rantzen programme a while ago in which they had a kid actor pretending to be abandoned in a shopping centre and virtually no one tried helped the kid as everyone is paranoid of what passers by would think. Sad state of affairs.

My sympathies to all those going through such tough times at the moment – Amberkraken, Mike, Pete's wife, David and family. Life can really throw some nasty sidewinders at us which somehow are magnified at this time of the year. And yes, in this period of the year our thoughts do go to those close to us that we lost. Somehow we have to try and draw strength and get through. Don't know what wise words I can offer other than saying that my thoughts are with you. Hope things get better soon for all of you.

Rushing around with the usual Xmas stuff to sort, so will go through the last few uploads in a quiet moment, but I am sitting here beaming as I see all the wonderful surprises. Best thread ever. What a way to end the year.

Nice ones chaps.

You did good, Mike. I like it. Better get a move on though if you want to finish that drawing you describe for Xmas 2010.

Great funny, flip-r  mk2. The mind boggles as to how the idea came to you.

What a fine blog update. Look forward to going through those at my leisure later on.

I think a stint on Titan would be more pleasurable than dealing with the block's management committee. Ten Chief Judges just doesn't work.

Refurb finally started on the block we live in.

Every day brings a new chapter of hassle and stress. Nothing to do with builders. They seem fine so far. Problems are with the disfunctional management committee. Some people just dig their heels in and won't shift.

Draining all my time and energy.

Work began about a week ago in order to save on VAT increase. (I found out 15mins before work was to start.) Problem is it's interfering with people's Xmas now and some of the tenants are absolutely livid, with good reason.

Merry 'EggsMas' from Captain Egg and his arch rival Captain Chip. (See what I did there?)

Nice one, Bolt. What better way is there to celebrate Christmas than to go out shooting up and punching zombies?

That's the spirit, flip-r mk2. Nice one! Sums up my thoughts on Xmas this year.

Best Christmas number one since 'Ernie (The Fastest Milkman in the West)' by Benny Hill in 1971.
