Was up very late the other night working on mine. Didn't make it to the computer last night as I got in late and conked out on the armchair. Tempted to take you up on your offer Mr Carroll but I will be moving house next week so can't be seen to be drawing after when mine is meant to go up. Full steam ahead tonight.

Loving Tharg Angel, Albion.

Oor Middenface is fab, shaolin_monkey. Love the dialect (which I had to read carefully to understand, what with being from dahn saff).

And well done to the budding artists. Those drawings are fantastic.

When you see a Digestive biscuit and you can't help thinking of the Rosette of Sirius.

Good luck with it Colin. Look forward to seeing how it progresses.

I lost my beautiful man cave almost a year ago. We are about to move very soon and my new one will be tiny so I need to work out what to do with it. But on the big plus side we are going from flat to house (via living at my mother's house for almost a year).

Same with me, TB. I've been meaning to start a 2000AD memories thread, being a sentimental type. I remember sitting in the back of my dad's Vauxhall Victor estate car outside the hospital when my kid brother was born. I was holding 2000AD (issue 21 I think) with the first super cover saga which featured a robot holding a dog by Bolland. I also had that week's issue of Krazy comic.

...those Steranko issues- which I'd not seen before- were exceptional, and I'd happily pick up a copy when I find it cheaper.
SBT
Some of those were reprinted in colour in the 70s in the Marvel UK Captain Britain weekly. Stunning artwork.

Well done everyone, congrats to the winners, thanks to CFM.

Must say, I've really enjoyed seeing the variety of work on show. Tons of amazing stuff.

I had a chat with my sister last night and we spoke about the episode of the Professionals that she appeared in (very briefly). On the day they were filming in our junior school she had lunch with Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw. She'd have been about nine or ten years old. She remembers how friendly Lewis Collins was.

I had a look online and did this screen grab. That's sis going up the stairs.

I once had a felt tip drawing proudly displayed at the top of those stairs of a robot based on the Smash instant mash robots (the eldsters will know what I am on about).

There is one scene in that episode where you can see the house I am sitting in right now.

Yeah, great to have you back, DD.

You see an extremely obese person and you mutter to your other half: "Belly wheel."

Mean, but true.

Fantastic start to the annual greatest thread on the internet. Two drokkin' brilliant entries there, Pete. Both cracked me up. Love it.

When someone asks you what your age is and you respond: "As old as the stars and as young as the future."
