Congratulations to the evil one and his family.

He's not going to try and impose some kind of tithe on us to pay for the baby's upbringing is he?

Thought the quartz zone could be a bit more quartzy.  It looks kind of rocky with a few quartz lumps.

The guns look like attachments to Gunnar - around 55 seconds into the film Rogue clips something onto Gunnar that he appears to take from Bagman.  You can see Bagman's arm retreating back into the backpack.

I'd love to see a Dredd MMORPG but was actually giving it some thought a while back and being able to play as a Judge presents something of a problem.

Aside from the levelling and social elements of MMORPGS the main draw is loot.  Everyone wants that lovely new sword or gun or whatever which is fine if you're playing a perp in a Dredd MMORPG but causes problems for Judges because they just don't grab equipment off perps and use them on their next patrol.
I suppose there could be a R&D system for Judges where they get issued with better equipment as they increase in ability but it'd still be fairly restrictive because the average Judge seldomly uses more than one or two weapons which haven't changed that much over time.

Former South African president PW Botha.

Surprisingly nice tributes so far considering what went on during his presidency?

Television producer Aaron Spelling's been written out of the series.

In keeping with some of his shows maybe he'll re-appear next year as the identical twin brother no-one knew he had.

Condolences Rio, hope things are getting better for you.

Another to add to the list, probably of little interest to non Evertonians or football historians but Brian Labone has completed his final transfer.

Film & TV / Chain Reaction - Radio 4
04 February, 2006, 03:37:19 PM
Whilst hard at work this morning I stumbled across the free ticket application site for the recording of Radio 4's Chain Reaction which might be of interest because board favorites Bill Bailey and Simon Pegg are appearing on the next series.

"February 17th - Bill Bailey interviews Simon Pegg March 6th - Lenny Henry interviews Bill Bailey"

The Chain Reaction mainpage also has audio links for questions that were cut from a Stewart Lee interview with Alan Moore.  However it doesn't say if that interview was in the last series or the upcoming one.  Anyone know?

$74 a month sing dollars
What's that in real money??

Currently about ?26ish.  Which is a nice deal considering average BB service is around ?15 a month at the moment.  So that's effectively a brand new pc for ?360.

Have to agree with the Dawn of War recommendation, it's great.  If you want more flying/shooting spacey stuff try X3:Reunion.  It's a bit graphics intensive but very nice, you can build your own factories, become a pirate or do whatever you want.  On the downside it uses the occasionally nasty, system altering starforce copy protection.

I had a go with the free EVE online trial recently and had great fun with that.  It did feel a bit lonely at times compared to other MMORPGS though because although you can communicate with the chat channels I never really came "face to face" with anybody due to the vast scale of the place.

I like the look of that.  Unfortunately in my music murdering hands the end result would probably be a cacophany of noise accompanied by a blinding light show that annoys my neighbours and earns me an ASBO.

Unfortunately it looks like he's "batshit insane".
Or maybe just a little over excited.

"Guys,
I'm sorry I gave inaccurate info on the cartoon.I was told on one end that the
TV show was a go but DXC enlightened me (with a hammer) that this was
not the case.I think there is a Futurama project as in DVD's but I appearently
had bad info. But I do live to give good Futurama news to people. So I must've
died or something.

All eyes on the skies,

Billy "
