One Saturday during my schhol days I walked to the village paper shop to collect my 2000ad.  It was a fairly brisk autumn morning so I had padded lumberjack type shirt on with my money in it's pockets but on my way back I decided to move the money into my jeans pockets which is when I noticed my legs felt strangely cold.  When I couldn't find my jean's pocket I realised that I had only got half dressed and was still wearing the bottom half of my pyjamas.  Luckily they were dark blue so I convinced myself that no-one could've possibly known.

I go for Betty over Wilma as well.
Other notable ladies would be Amy from Futurama, Princess from Battle of the Planets and I've always had a bit of a thing for Jesse from Pokemon.

Delving into the realms of bestiality again (and 3d animation) the cat nurse from Hilltop Hospital is pretty cute.  But she's secretly in love with the dog who's a doctor which is tragic because he fancies the matron, who's a hippo.

I swear that kid's programs are a lot more complicated than they used to be.
Maybe I should start getting out the house more often as well...

I imported it just after the US release last year.  There were quite a few issues with it then which suggested it should've stayed in beta testing a little while longer but things have been getting better and better.  The galactic civil war is really starting to pick up now with stormtrooper deployment and searches in cities.

Good choice with brawler, most of those professions really kick arse in PvE combat.  I had a great time soloing rancors with master TKA.
I kind of abandoned my poor Wookiee on Radiant but I'm currently playing a master doc on Chimaera.

BTW applications for the European beta test of World Of Warcraft should open today if anyone's interested.

Maybe it wasn't a Liverpool/football player.  That would make Mark Hamill the warmer guess.

So my guess is Harrison Ford.

Another Cosgrove & Hall one - Victor and Hugo.
And possibly the rudest/funniest name a young child watching cartoons can hear - Chilly Willy.

"When Rooney went off why did he bring Vassel on who obviously couldn't be the link-player between the midfield and Owen that Rooney had been"

In hindsight Heskey would've been the better option given the way England were playing.  But I think Sven was kind of hoping the players would be able to figure out how to operate a classic 4-4-2 formation with the midfield doing their job and being the link between defense and attack without a striker having to drop back and help them out.  If they'd tried to hold their ground and compete for the middle of the pitch instead of dropping back to within a couple of feet of the defensive line things may have been different.   As it was Portugal were allowed plenty of space to keep the ball and outplay us without getting all that many clear cut goalscoring opertunities.  If they played better final balls into the penalty area we would've quite rightly been battered and all the fuss about the disallowed goal wouldn't have mattered.

Greece played really well last night though, congrats to them even though the results so far are really messing up my fantasy football team.

It seems the ref's also turning Swiss neutrality into some kind of multiple personality judging by the tabloids.
The Sun says he's apologised for disallowing the "goal" but according to the Mirror he's sure his decision was correct and has no regrets.
Bit strange, unless the papers are massaging the  quotes, nah, never.

Of course comparisons were made with England's disallowed goal with Argentina but Campbell has also involved in another shocking refereeing decision.
It was a league game against West Ham a few years back when he was still with Spurs.  Spurs had conceded a corner and their keeper ran out to catch the ball but collided with Campbell and dropped the ball which bobbled to a West Ham player who duely scored.  The ref disallowed the goal for a foul on the keeper even though there wasn't a West Ham player anywhere near him or Campbell when they collided.

"footie as played by people too dim to understand the offside rule..."

Unfortunately that seems to include everyone in FIFA's regulatory comitee at the moment judging by the current offside rule and the clip from FIFA's video the BBC showed after the (fantastic) Dutch-Czech game yesterday.
I expect to see the old playground postion of goalhanger making a reappearance in the leagues next season.

I could possibly be bothered with it if I knew what the hell was going on.
All I've managed to figure out is that if someone runs with the ball they have to bounce or kick it every few seconds (?).  Apart from that it's just a haze of punch-ups and excitable Aussie commentators.

Different sport.
Floyd's concerned about the Antipodean footballers with odd shaped balls and unfeasibly tight shorts.

People who walk really slowly in shopping precincts and can't make up their mind where they're going so they always end up sidestepping right into you as you try and walk around them.

The same people as above who've finally decided where they're going but then stop for a chat in the shop doorway so no-one can get in or out.

Oh, and Calamity James should have been red-carded, committing a foul in the box as the last man defender.

Referees should also be allowed to punish players who do something really stupid by giving them a "slap upside the head".  Especially when their team-mates try to comfort said player and convince them that their mistake wasn't important.

I'm looking at you Mr Gerrard.

Guess what I watched last night instead of the football?
Was it a hollywood remake of Ghandi?
With Vin Diesel in the title role?

Don't know about that, we should've won it but France had all the possession and it was a couple of stupid English mistakes that gave them their goals.

Anyway I'm all for football, absolutely love the game (I even sat through the whole of Croatia-Switzerland!).  Unfortunately it does appear that tabloid jingoism is part and parcel of our international games.  It's all rather ridiculous so I do my best to ignore it.  The one thing that really, really winds me up is the the booing of other national anthems at the start of games - it's petty, disrespectful and only seems to make other teams more determined to beat us.
