Well what is your last post? Your most recent one, which in your case is (at the mo) the one above, and mine is this one. What would be the point?

Aah that's it. I hadn't noticed that Iron John was a third old man and not one of the other two. Thanks.

As for "a wizard did it," I refer you to what Butch said last week.

Can't see anything wrong with this cover (although I do prefer the old font). It's brilliant.

QuoteThe Dark Judges' plan was fairly obvious in retrospect
. I think that this is testament to John Wagner's excellent writing. Obvious in retrospect, but not obvious until it happened. Incidentally, we have already had an explanation for Death's return: the Sisters of Death did it. We don't need any more detail than that. They do that sort of thing.

I don't mind black and white art, but I do think that three such strips at once is a bit too much, and might deter potential new readers, especially the younger ones, on whom the long-term future of the comic ultimately depends. I don;t have any trouble telling them apart though as the art styles are so different. For a moment I thought that Jake Lynch's first panel had been drawn by Henry Flint, and some other panels look similar in style. It will be interesting to see what he is producing in five years' time.

Quite like Savage now. Did somebody say in another thread that this is the last book?

The Order: I thought it was odd that Anna disappeared as soon as the Teutonic Knights showed up, we just followed the two old men running about, and then she suddenly showed up next to them in the sewers. Had she been with them the whole time and been left out of the pictures or did she get there another way? Do I even care?

I thought that this was a pretty good issue. I enjoyed the bonus Reaper story .

But Harlem Heroes?!! Scraping the barrel much? It's not as if they've run out of good strips to reprint.

Love the .gif!

I don't think that anyone who dislikes an episode, and says so, must have a personality disorder. But I do wonder about someone who assumes that the writer must have deliberately written a bad episode in bad faith to spite the audience for some unfathomable reason.

Thought it was great fun.

Amazed at how negative, aggressive and cynical some of the carpers on this website are. Just fuck off.

Traktorfaktori was assassinated by Jonni Kiss.

I thought Judgement Day was alright for the same reasons Greg M likes it, but coming only two years after Necropolis it couldn't possibly hope to compete with it, so it suffers by comparison. It's just a straight action story with no nuance to it, while Necropolis brought together various different long-running story threads and was just brilliant. But still worth it just to see Ezquerra put Dredd and Alpha together, an opportunity that was missed the first time that happened.

I really liked The Dead Zone, and this had a satisfying conclusion.

Intrigued by The Cop and looking forward to seeing how it is going.

I'm pleased to see the return of American Reaper. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy it.

Definitely deliver a Dredd drama deftly drawn by Dillon directly. Don't dilly-dally. Danke.

For some reason the quote function hasn't found the original post so here's a link:

From December 2001 in a somewhat macabre thread arguing about which was Dredd's most serious injury and speculating about his eventual demise:

QuoteDredd's most extensive injury was falling into a river of acid and becoming the Dead Man with about 95% burns and no face!

He has also been set on fire at least twice, crucified twice, tortured by Stan Lee's girlfriend, broke a bone in his own hand in the Perp Runners story (in the Mega-Rackets) ... the list goes on and on.

But I think Judge Sadu in Judgement Day takes the record -- arm, eyes, heart and ribs all removed and he still kept going!  What a trouper!

For the record, I think only Orlok is hard enough to take Dredd.  Otherwise some kind of suicide attack is the only option.

Or what would be really odd: if the new Rico judged him...

Definitely Dillon!

These look brilliant. I would totally subscribe if I didn't already have so many of them in old editions that I pretty much need to move house to make room for them. But I might get one as a gift.

At least everyone who moaned about spines in this forum can finally feel like they've been listened to! Now you just need to get a shelf that's wide enough for 80 books.

I bet that Mr White is Blofeld, and it's his codename. Mr Green in Quantum of Solace will have been Spectre too, and they all have colour codenames like Spectrum.
