"some others who talk a bit, like, you know, that - don't hear you complaining about them "

Can't say I've ever read D.R and Quinch, mate :P

A bit too much T+A is what put me off witchblade and tomb raider before I even read the dialogue... although its the same thing that kept me "reading" ghost in the shell 2!

Anything with teenagers, herioc teenagers, anti-heroic teenagers, or in fact anyone that appears to be dressed in the latest trendy style (current hate being these baggy pants, black shirt, wrist bangle things, mopped over hair, all the same sort of emo look). I find that the actual focus of these comics is the fact that they are supposed to be "real" kids doing extraordinary things? Piss off, could there be a more blatant way to try and relate to "kids of today"? As you can imagine, my main reason for hating Bec and Kawl was, like, the way he, y'know, talked, in such a, sorta, like, hip and laid back kinda way.

Character who smoke constantly, as if the writer and artist do it themselves and genuinely wouldn't know how to pose Spider Jerusalem standing there doing nothing if he wasn't LOOKING COOL with a smoke in his mouth.

The one I'm thinking of was probably less under rated and more... hated. Twas BISON of course, and I enjoyed it. Slap me if you want.

I'm not really as impressed with him as you lot, his art is a bit too McMahon for me (which I never liked in the first place).

The subject here is comics... non-2000ad or no, they are all comics!

Anyone else still reading Spawn? I got the first 11-12 GN's but gave up when I couldn't find them anymore. I thought Spawn was good, but always one of those comics where the protagonist was really super powerful but got his ass kicked all over the place without lifting a finger at regular intervals! I'm going "JUST JUMP OUT OF THE WAY!!" and Spawns whinging "Don't want to waste my powers!"

FINE, GET A FUCKING SKULL FRACTURE THEN!

Terrible inconsistencies as well... he needed oxygen to live, but didn't need a spine to walk or lungs to breath? He could talk without lips?

On another note, DXB, I saw your comic in Millenium Comics last saturday, only really looked a the cover but it looked very witty indeed!

Ok, done my bit, Trouty... who's next?

Went round to a mates and sat in with his missus, watched spider-man on dvd, smoked a couple joints, drew a few sketches, watched about 10 minutes of battlefield earth, went home.
Doesnt compare to friday night! Where I went to the pub, got drunk, ogled ladies in whetherspoons, went home.

I've lost the inspiration.
