Charlie's War just keeps getting better for mine

the articles were all okay. Mind you, there was nothing in the Prisoner article that I haven't known for about 20 years. Is that just me?

Fraser's art is as genius as ever, but I'm beginning to get tired of Jack Point - seems to be painting itself into a corner. The SJS granny was indeed cool.

well I wouldn't mess with them. I liked that line, and a few other things about it.

the thought of fantasy novels fills me with inertia, but I'd go for Ursula LeGuin, who wrote some very intelligent books and Mervyn Peake, who wrote the completely brilliant Titus Groan as well as at least one great children's book.

ps doesn't it remind you a bit of the Crying Ape out of Promethea? I mean, inasmuch as it's a pop trend nobody could have predicted

I only read the one issue, but wouldn't have paid a cent for it based on that.
How many readers did it have? Should Tharg add a future sport strip, possibly using complex 3d technology to snap them up?

just kidding

I miss Krusty's psychotic off-topic phase.

I confess to some trollishness a while ago. I appalled myself and have since resolved not to do trollish stuff or to be rude online if I can possibly avoid it
