>Does anyone know what Dredd was actually removing from the box in this first issue?

If I remember correctly and teh Scottish weather hasn't made my brains go all soggy the script calls for Dredd to be taking ammo out a box and loading his Lawgiver, so its a different box.

Judge Logan,  the Gimp with a limp.

>I've got a feeling that none of dredd's squad will survive the trip. That would be a shame - i like renga! He seemed to have come a long way when he popped up briefly in 'The Scorpion Dance'.

Just wait for the 30th birthday reveal, all but one of the squad dies and 2000 AD is rebranded '2000 AD Featuring Judge Logan'

To see what John thanks Robin for there's a nice Origins feature in the next issue of 'Redeye'

make the most of it north of the border as it seems that titan and other distributers havent picked it up for distribution anywhere else

he may be twat but can never completely condemn him as he did set the British Forces Foundation charity in 1999 that funds entertainment for British troops worldwide.
I may not want to see him or many of his acts on stage but when you're stuck in some god awful place you'll watch anything.

>I haven't read it for a long time, but I particularly remember absolutely hating his work on Slaine.

Sky Chariots
Progs 352 to 360
This is simply not the best Slaine story, not the best thing Mike ever did but the best art 2000AD has ever printed. The storytelling is superb and if I was stranded on a desert island and could only take one thing out of my box's of progs it'd have to be....
http://www.2000adonline.com/covers/graphicnovels/mediumres/slainek2.jpg>
Warrior's Dawn
Prog 335
Sky Chariots
Progs 352 to 360
Slaine the King
Progs 500 to 519
The Killing Field
Prog 582
Slaine the Mini-Series
Progs 589 to 591

I may be tempted to take the Rebellion version over the Titan one
http://www.2000adonline.com/covers/graphicnovels/mediumres/dcslaine.jpg>
as it contains more strips:
The Time Monster
Prog 330
The Beast in the Broch
Progs 331 to 334
Warrior's Dawn
Prog 335
The Beltain Giant
Prog 336
Bride of Crom
Progs 337 to 342
The Creeping Death
Prog 343
The Bull Dance
Prog 344
Heroes' Blood
Progs 345 to 347
The Shoggey Beast
Progs 348 to 351
Sky Chariots
Progs 352 to 360
The Origins
Prog 352

The book may have some other Slaine stories in but the Titan edition is the one I'd take for its glossy pages and its a hardback edition so good for fighting of those nubile female islanders whilst I'm trying to read it.

I'm a reasonable man and wil listen to other people arguments on many a topic and I'll even let you try and convince me that Siku can draw Dredd but lets not beat about the bush if you dont like Sky Chariots then your first against the wall and you can choose any one of 6 bullets to meet your maker.

>Has ANYONE out there got an unwanted variant cover prog 2005 up for grabs?

I had a pile of them but gave them away in one of my giveaways. All my Progs are in storage as I'm about to have some work done on my house so It'll be about three months before I get the chance to have a look.

>one rare tooth alternate cover

Which one?

Don't forget there's always Prog 700 with the First set of Scan cards that instead of having the free gift on the outside was stapled in the centre pages so that on the cover there's a sticker saying free gift inside. There's another couple of Progs that were different but I'll keep quiet so as not to have the completeists running off to their nearest shop or e-bay.
