Wher would I purchase this fine comic from? My local comic store is shite and the next nearest one is Miles and miles and miles away. As for Arts comment on the Skreemer issue, thanks for the tip ( did'nt know it had been re-issued), but I still have the originals in bags, in me loft. Some of the few comics I kept from way back when I became disilussioned and sold hundreds of them in one go to a shop for fuck all. Jesus what a tit. Looking back I should have kept 'em all and sold one of my bodily organs.

I, like Lightsurfer,  have only recently returned to the comic world. The natural route for me was 2000AD as I have more or less read since the mid-eighties. I too would like to know of any other decent titles to read at the moment. My nearest comic shop only seems to be full of Marvel which I never really was a fan of, ( appart from The Punisher ). A few of you good people on the site have mentioned something called 'Solar Wind' Any info on this , or any other recomendations, would be welcomed. Finally, does anyone remember a 6 parter called 'Skreemer' I thought that was a corker.

Hey Titch. Have you ever noticed when they do a 'Most Haunted Live' Derek always has to take an emotional break around 10.30 or 11 o'clock. I reckon he's sliping down the pub for a very different kind of spirit, if you catch me drift.

I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed but how do you all post pictures and scans on the message board. When ever I scan anything at home it looks shite. Me or the scanner? I'll let you decide.

Almost any thing by Husker du after the Zen Arcade album especially Too far down and Hardly getting over it, both make me want to cry.

Madness - One step beyond

Radiohead - Fake plastic trees ( another suicide bid of a song }.

Anything by Mega City 4

The whole of the Beaster album by Sugar ( great played in the dark ).

I don't get why women like The Golden Girls. What the fuck was all that about???
And the big one I really have trouble with RELIGION whats there to believe in? No evidence at all apart from an old book. Religion is just a way of controlling the masses by fear.when I was a kid at school they used to say "If God sees you doing that you will go to Hell and burn for ever"
Yeah right. Kiss my scrote...
Bit of a rant there time for a drink to calm my nerves

Unfortunately I left my work doodle of a small man at work last night wedged on the inside of an electric fan so it looked like he was been blown against the mesh cover. Ah the joy of working a 12 hour night shift!!!!!!

General / original artwork?
09 August, 2004, 03:01:43 PM
Whilst looking on ebay yesterday there is a piece of original artwork by Dave Golding a supposed 'up and coming comic artist' I have seen some of his stuff onebay before and wondered if anyone had heard of him or is he just a bit of a zero sat at home with his pens for company dreaming ?
