I've been nostalgic for a lot of old cartoons recently. Including the Turtles (I don't like the new one either, the voices are naff for a start).

The first Batman Animated is probably the best cartoon EVER though. Seriously, even the intro is a work of art!

And whatever happened to Freakazoid? If anybody even watched it...

Cheating on Zool as it was too hard for me too beat...

Playing a five level demo of Lemmings on my old Acorn and amusing myself by killing them horrifically.

Ah, I loved that old Acorn... Almost as much fun as the megadrive!

Hell, our school still HAS blackboards... Although, they are indeed a dying breed. More seem to disappear each year... And frankly, whiteboards suck. More power to blackboards!

I know this is pretty recent... But I kind of miss them trying to pass Big Brother off as a social experiment. I mean, yes, we all know it's *not* science, but can't they just do a brainiac and blag their way through it?

No luck finding nerds in woolies... But the nerd listings on that site just made me morun the loss of Neon Nerds even more...

Grud, what happened to those? They were the best!

I'm pretty sure you can't get Nerds anywhere in the UK... But I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong!

Ooooh YES! Trapdoor was awesome! Saw a poster for it the last time I was in Forbidden Planet, which was beyond awesome!

I miss my old Sega Megadrive.... Streets of Rage, Sonic the Headgehog... Those were PROPER games...

But by some sad twist of fate, my Sonic playing powers have diminished over the years. :(

Anybody actually remember when you couldn't eat a whole Mars bar? When it was so big you'd actually believe it could last you a week?

Or when Wagon Wheels actually could have been their name sake?! (all be it on a rather small wagon).

Or when they used to actually sell Nerds in the UK? Grud, I used to love Neon Nerds... Best sweets ever!

How about when Saturday night TV used to be entertaining? Instead of bullox?

Grud, the 21st century sucks...

To be fair, I'd rather my child looked like that than Vin Diesel...

Well, considering Pasha had face change treatments, and that is estentially super-advanced plastic sergery (please correct me if I'm wrong!) wouldn't the kid have Pasha's original facial features?

... Whatever those may be...

Don't get me wrong... The cover did look damaged. Not the old, tatty, printed on scrap paper resistance leaflet kind of damage you'd expect. Or at least I'd expect... Come on Tharg, if you're going to do things, don't do them by half!

I pity the artist who has to draw a novelty mustache on a jar...

Wow, Prog line up is still going strong! :D

Nice cover, but I feel that the sctrach lines were a little underwhelming. If you're going to try and make something look old, you either go all the way or you just don't bother, really. It's a nice enough image though, even if it is a little static... Could have really done with a more dramatic image considering the caption.

Dredd was great! It's nice to see Giant up and running again, and I just can't wait to see Rico with his titanium jaw! Vienna's dilemna really hit home as well, especially blended so well with Giant's own trials and tribulations as it was.

Savage is still top class stuff. Was amazed to find out from a friend that the Americans actually did you delpleated uranium aromour plating on thier tanks... Well I never...

Leatherjack continues to amaze and bemuse me as only John Smith can!

Breathing Space is shaping up to be an intriguing tale, too early for me to judge... I just hope the change in art duties doesn't effect the quality too much (unless, of course, the quality is increased!)

As for Robo-Hunter... Lunacy! Complete and utter lunacy! And I'm loving it!

Welcome return for Droid Life too!
