Quote from: "Bouwel"I've since been told that the Dark Horse comic was available online but, alas again, it looks like it's been taken down.

You can get the collected volume for £8.49 incl P+P on Amazon. Enter "scarlet traces" and it's the third item down.

Yep. By Eddington and D'Israeli. Just finished the first of the Scarlet Traces books by the same duo. 'Kin ace.

And thats a pukka bit of film Shark.

Well worth it WoD. Thoroughly enjoyed reading the collected works. The general standard of prose is high though there are a couple of stories that may well seem to drag for the modern reader. You'll definitely have extended your vocabulary by then end of it as well. Great stuff.

Fire is the cleanser.

No, sorry, that is wholly irresponsible on my part. Fire is actually only the cleanser in a very limited number of situations. What would be more accurate in most cases is that warm water and a dependable detergent of some sort is the cleanser.

Cover - What on earth?   Ohhhhh.....Greysuit. Not a good cover.

Droid Life - Tee Hee.

Dredd - More involving than last week. Some good Judge speak and a cosmic bong. All good.

Greysuit - Oh no, not The Omega Man.    Wasn't that Charlton Heston?

Marauder - Coming along nicely. More great art from Elson and an interesting character in Mikhail Krunt (if that is his real name). Fair enough he's got three bullets stuck in his face, but those gums. For god's sake man, mouthwash.

Red Seas - I'm beginning to come round to the 'Steve Yeowell doesn't like backgrounds' school of thought this week. And this after extolling the space and sense of distance in his minimalist panels last week. Well yeah, but then last week the action was mostly set in a desert. This week they reach 'The Keep' and after a distant view you get nada. No sense of what kind of architectural environment they're in what so ever. Well you get a Chinese restaurant made out blankets, but what does that tell you. If as I suspect the idea is that this citadel is constructed from the remains of wrecked ships then a little more work on that idea would have been appreciated. Other than that though, I like the King Caliban character ( was that from the Tempest? And theres a magician as well I seem to remember) good and nasty.

Strontium Dog - Brill.

And the mighty one speaks seems to confirm the film news. Write to DNA and ask to be in it.

Hur-hur-hur.
No sorry, I of course meant to say 'Good God Shark, you are a very sick puppy".
 Hur-hur, puppies.

I'm nearly done on mine. Maybe the six week ideas worth trying though.

Yes, you're quite right of course. But under the current rules I think you'll find that's to be expected. And, ahem, encouraged.  Thankyou.

In the good old days Coca-cola's secret ingredient was finely chopped carrot. But once the marketing department got involved it was changed to cocaine. This is of course no longer the case as we live in enlightened times. Now it's radium.

Signed. But then again I do build Large PA speaker cabinets and flightcases for a living. Built the cabinets for some very loud stage monitors only today. Nanny state. I shit 'em.

Now thats a fact!

Swapping smoothly from the silver to the small screen. Star Trek Voyager was going to be called Trans Warp Adventure Team, but they only had enough money for 15 letters in the title.
