Heh, nice one. That means I can hold off on picking up the Future War TPB - which was missing a few key stories, anyway - and wait for the new Rogue collection.

BTW - if it's not too late, any chance of considering the magnificent Cam Kennedy cover for the old Titan RT Book 2 for the new collection?

Oooh, juicy...

I assume the Meknificent Seven, Skizz and America collections are just going to be Rebellion/DC versions of the existing Titan reprints? Also, is the Rogue collection just going to be a new version of the current Titan collection "Future War"?

Delighted to see that Dante, Sin/Dex & Devlin Waugh are going to be seeing second volumes so soon - it looks from here as though they're being positioned, along with Dredd, as "flagship" 2000AD titles.

Oh, almost forgot:

BAD COMPANY! YOU FUCKING DANCER!

DXB -

Actually, I think it's something like "The Firzt Case". Don't think it rules out there being more stories - enough for a new collection anyway - but I don't think it's meant to be anything more than a pun.

I wouldn't mind seeing "The New Statesmen", "Insiders", "Straitgate" & "The New Adventures of Hitler" reprinted. Quite enjoyed all of them...

Straitgate, IIRC. And, yes, it'd definitely be a good reprint choice. It'd be nice to see "Dare" from Revolver getting reprinted as well - it was released in a beautiful Rian Hughes-designed edition years ago, but it's been out of print ever since.

Ah, there was some good stuff in Crisis - certainly enough for a couple of decent collections.

I'd agree with that. I had a flick through Firekind last night, and I couldn't believe how different the artwork was. His later work might have been more technically accomplished, but I much preferred the style he used on this series.

Yeah, I normally check the ID to see if I recognise it, and I've backed off a couple of auctions because I knew someone from here who was bidding. That said, I'm sure I've unintentionally sniped a couple of boarders!

Isn't there an option for sellers to do that if bids arrive in the last couple of minutes? I'm pretty sure I've seen it happen...

Irritates the hell out of me, but I'm afraid I've been guilty of it in the past. It's annoying, but the way the system is set up, it's always going to happen. I've wondered whether a closed bid would perhaps be a better way of going about online auctions, with only the seller knowing the current highest bid until the auction closes.

What was it, anyway?

"Well, we can probably sort something out so someone has everything"

Yeah, and at this rate, it'll be Cap'n C ;-)

BTW - I've got a Krull poster. I'll swap you for the Hawk the Slayer one...
