â??You havenâ??t lived until youâ??ve heard Alan describe the heroes â?? this is in the near future â?? getting trapped in an amusement park in Compton, where one of the rides you go on is a drive-by shooting.â?

I am fucking there.

The few comic fans I know get all snooty when they see my collection of Insane Clown Posse comics. Like their music I know it's shit but I just really enjoy it anyway so I am unrepentant in my love for the wicked clowns.

Did you have fun at Woodstock '99 ;)

I simply have to own this. Check out those hyper-strength Lifield stylings.

Well at least the artist on the Mother Theresa has captured the true extent of her evil.

Catharsis is good for the soul. Don't let this thread get too negative folks. Even if your embarrassment is based on your own personal hang ups rather than any objective standards of badness you should share your pain. It's okay, you're with friends.

I have to say Meg 213, purely because of the fact that I bought it from a "normal" newsagent and it had cartoon boobs on the cover.

Cover: Good Stuff.

Dredd: The religious nutcase baddie is a bit cliched, and it's a tad unlikely that Nate would fall for his shit but only a tad. The characterization of robowife is interesting so far. I don't think I've ever enjoyed Critchlow this much either. Great Stuff.

Knob: So this is what the cover meant by "big jobs". I wish we could have had 10 weeks of John Smith tribute stuff like we see here rather than boring ass blood n' guts. I was stupid enough to read this on the tube. Good Stuff.

ABC: I'm glad we're getting a break 'cos I was getting a bit bored with this. At least we have an interesting set up for next time. OK Stuff.

Button Man: So far I've complained that this is either too slow or too quick, well this is like the third bowl of porridge. Except it's porridge with DRUGS in it. Very Good Stuff.

So, yeah.

Am I the only one who finds that reviewers quote to be a bit of an odd choice? "Well-balanced"?

The reveal in Oldboy left me shocked for a couple of days after I saw it.

My favourite LOTR scene is Sam and Frodo climbing up Mount Doom, due to the simple emotional impact.

An important childhood memory was Charlotte snuffing it in Charlotte's Web. I felt ill as Wilbur realised she wasn't there.

Hey, I liked all of QT's other stuff preceding Kill Bill, it's just his 4th film was so boring.

The bit in Kill Bill where the Bride kills the guy by slamming the door on his head. That was the only part of that film that didn't make me want to punch Tarantino's stupid face into next week.

The bit in Mr Nanny where Hulk's massive head is being held under water and the kid tries to stop the heavy so the heavy just swats him aside, awakening the Hulkster's righteous fury.
