Film & TV / Re: Battlestar Galactica Season 2....

Season 3 did feel like it was stuffed with filler between the season and mid-season arcs. But most of those were still great episodes.

The New Caprica arc was probably the highlight of the season, it was just really strong. One does wonder how Adama walks with balls so big, after that "one scene".

I can't believe we have to wait until 2008 for Season 4! At least there will be a made for TV movie in the fall, its supposedly about Battlestar Pegasus.

Books & Comics / The legality of "Fanzines"
16 April, 2007, 06:08:38 AM
I'm just generally curious about how fanzines like Zarjaz and Dogbreath get away with self publishing IPs that Rebellion owns. Not that I'm against it, I think it's really cool that there's a strong enough fanbase to put out books like that. But you don't see that kind of thing over here the US, I assume because Marvel and DC would come down on anyone who'd try like a flaming bag of legal bricks.

So... just wondering how that works.

I was wondering this too. Because I've enjoy the character in his appearances in the Dredd Case Files and was thinking about what I could do with the guy fanfic wise. Maybe put a script together for Zarjaz or just for practice or something.

P-Elivs apparently controls Dredd's libido.

Gotta say I really liked this episode. Not just for the plot laying it accomplished with the Face of Boe's message to the Doctor. The twist at the end about the situation of the drivers caught me off guard, and that's always a plus.

I'll say this once, Doctor Who may not be the greatest show ever made, but it is the best pure Adventure show I've watched in years and years. It's just got so much heart and does cheese without being cheesy.

I sure hope this is good. But modernized Flash Gordon is a tough job, and the crew that doing it doesn't fill me with confidence (the guys who did the Earthsea TV miniseries Adaption, the one so bad the author disowned it)

This really needs to be a remake of Battlestar Galactica caliber to really take off.

It's a Bit Torrent site, it's the reason I can be up to date on your wonderful UK TV programing. I'm pretty sure the only way to sign up is by checking the site daily and waiting for their monthly open registration. I checked my account and I don't see anything resembling invites.

(I probably should have worked on this one more)

Anyway, when I hold my pen I keep my fingers well away from the buttons, because I find I accidentally push them when I'm pressing down to draw.

I've had a Wacom Tablet for months now, and this is the best I've been able to do.

I plug away at practicing, but I can never seem to find a grove. I guess I've just not got the eye for art... *sigh* http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/3245/wonderwomanredesignmo5.jpg">

Uh... Mean Machine got his start in Dredd, so I doubt it.

Clearly ol' Bill Savage would have become the clear cultural icon of our age.

Or 2000AD would have died in fire. One or the other.

The full title is Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters

Why they spelled out "Colon" instead of ":" is a bit beyond me, it's not really that funny and makes me think of part of me that pees.

As it is, If you've never watched Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Seeker, check out the Adult Swim home page and the "Fix" section. Where you can watch Adult Swim shows, including 3 episodes of Aqua Teen. The Movie will look like that.

This movie is going to RULE.

The post looks cool, but I wouldn't just the movie by it. The joke is, the poster represents everything the Aqua Teen Movie ISN'T going to be.
