Right, I have no problem with a new Dredd collection every month.

It's a new Rogue trade every other month that feels suffocating.

Yes, the new trade dresses on the TPs are quite boss. The black is sexy and the color splash keeps the varrious lines in sync with their previous DC releases.


Question, is Rogue Trooper: Regene the last Rogue trade for a while? As nice as it is to get a decent series like Rogue so quickly (thanks to the upcoming game I'm sure) it seems to be preempting alot of other titles that could do with reprint collections.

Every other month being Dredd/Rogue solicitations is a little much IMO.

Another thing I was thinking about, The EE is great because of it's over sized graduer. Would "narrow" era Meg (and Prog!) stories really take advantage of that? Or would we be stuck with a lot of white space in the margins?

Would America fit in a EE?

Ack! No Manga sized trades! I have enough problems fighting that trend in the US. Give me your European style oversized magazine and albums any day of the week.

Dredd: Mandroid and Leatherjack seem talor made for TPing.

Hey, I loved Ant Wars. It was pure 70s cheese.

And Second City Blues seems to get better with rereading. Hope we get a sequel to that soon.

Does rebellion own the reprint rights on stuff like Eagle, Crisis, Revolver, Tornado, etc...all the stuff in their "other publications" section?

Actualy I'd much rather have The V.Cs in a regular TP (then a TP collection Abbot's new stuff, I enjoy Abbot's V.Cs a hell of a lot)

Being new, I have no real recomendations for what the EE should reprint. But on the plus side, being new that means every issue is all new to me. I havn't been disapointed in anything printed yet.

[Savage Book 2: Out of Order]

2005 was my first full year on the title and I have to say I've been nothing but impressed by the top quality across the board.

Savage Book 2: Out of Order - Tops my favorit Trill of the year. With The V.Cs Book 4 right behind it.

Shakara, Judge Dredd: Mandroid, Bec & Kawl, Leatherjack, Robo-Hunter, Nikolai Dante, Sinister Dexter: Let Hell Suffer No Dumb Minions, and Red Seas: Underworld have impressed me all year.

Second City Blues and American Gothic needed some work but were good.

I still havn't jelled with Cabillistic Inc, maybe after the Trade collection.

And Slaine and Atavar were just aweful.

Really a great year for great comics thanks to coming on board 2000AD. The best new title of the year for me.

I just got done reading Helter Skelter and while Ennis is not my favorite writer in the world, it was actualy pretty good.

Total War was also solid.

Unfortunatly I won't get to read any of the "real" mega epics (Apoc War, Judge Child, etc...) until they get reprinted in the Case Files.

I think people look to deep into these sort of things.
