Hear,hear.

Had a great thyme in Eales recently in my tent.
The weekend weather was a blinder!

We drank Jamesons.Went cliff diving and hiuge kite flying.

And there is nothing better than finishing the gorgeous day off with a bout of beach cricket.

Then back to camp for a sing-song round the campfire. Finally back in the tent to munch leftovers and kip.

;)Topnotch.

Some expulsions.

Savage's conspirital chat on the last page of this episode is filed with classical references in the composition of the charactors. I cant put a name on the original paintings but early renaissence (sp)may be influencing the pictures of Adlard. Lovely way to tie in heaven and hell.

Mandroid works on a predictability that ensures there is no turning back for Nate. Pure "soap" tactics performing an unput downable story.

Planet dstroying has never been shyed away from in the best scifi circle and LeatherJack is no acception.
Just how dark are the secrets of the universe?

Gibsons artwork is on phenomenal form Give that strip some Irn Bru though.
Saying that the Lennon/lenin machine has to be a fine bit of satire. Especially with The John Lennon Story on the road as a musical at the moment.

I do love a good suspence and Breathing Space picks the pace like shooting fish in a barrel.I feel unworthy of further comment.

Well Ill get my copy tomorrow wont and have a look, see.Eh?

I can see ;"Scissor Sisters!" being thrown into the mix on the LeatherJack story somewhere.

Ive been leaving Savage till last without even discussing it with my thrill-tasters and from 1450 where it began.Nice to see the golden proportion being utilised two weeks back.Where Savage enters the kitchen of his sister as she discusses Volgan movements with an interpreter.

That cover is a "quick find a spare artist who can whip up a cover fast!" and "Doms leaving do went on a bit, whos his replacement again? How is the weather on Mars" kind of cover.

Its done on an illustrator and Boo likes to get back to "good ole paper and ink" so I can see it being a last chance piccy.

But could 2000ad be so disorganised?

I never twigged the robot was a dog.

Until I learnt what a canine was.

Then it kind of lost its mystique.

I wonder if it levitates.

I ve been chomping at the bit to tell how impressed I have been since 1450.

Excellent selection. Proper Bo.

Wonderful orchestration of the stories with well thought composition throughout the plots.

Bravo tooth, its coming up daisies.

Me too Paul.

Fan-fucking-tastic artwork I never appreciated as a spoilt kid. Silly silly me.

Ive been kicking myself for not seeing such influence before now.

At the time (10-15yrs old carls.) I looked down my nose at Beli, because of his zero-tolerance of chance markings and by the book graphics.
Now I rue my precociousness.

I have a question to any devout squaxxes.

Is Meltdown Man (Book 2) going to have the "business men in the pool with reaching hands" sequence in it or am I over-imaginating?
