Help! / Re: Web hosting company?

I use 1&1 for my hosting. Never had a problem with them so far. In fact, when my credit card expired, they held the domain open for me for about a week after it expired while I got my act together & updated my card details. Nice.

The two digit space is for the issue number.
Not all cards have an issue number.
If yours doesn't have one, leave it blank.
The next, longer space is for the 3-digit security number.

And yet the movie Lawmaster had puny wheels because it "wasn't possible" for a bike to have big-ass tyres. Tsk...

Which, for the benefit of the culturally inept, would be the first two Doors albums (or possibly a compilation).

Fairly sure I've posted this one before, but here's a pretty comprehensive list:

Peter, don't take this as an attack, because it's not one. It's a polite request:

Please can you just stick to posting about 2000AD/comics/sci-fi related stuff.
All this self-indulgent navel-gazing/persecution complex stuff is seriously affecting my enjoyment of this board, and clearly I'm not alone.

I'm not condoning it, but the reason certain other boarders keep attacking you is because you keep posting the same irrelevant guff. If you change your behaviour, they'll certainly change theirs.

I've never killfiled anybody yet in all the time I've been using the board but you're leading me to consider it.

Stop telling us about how you're going to stop posting your random thoughts on what to have for breakfast and just stop doing it.

What d'you say? Give it a try?

Yep, you missed it.
So did I, but I, uh, caught the repeat on Mininova.

I meant to watch it, but fell asleep on the couch.
Is there a repeat?

No.

Entering cheat codes to make a game you have paid for easier to play = Totally legal (although to do so is to admit you're a wretched gamer who can't be arsed getting good at the game).

Using a crack to extend the life of a time-limited demo so that you don't have to pay for the software = Illegal. Against the law. Naughty.

Just so we all know where we stand legally, OK?

"Are cheat codes for games less illegal because you have already paid for the game?"

Yes.

"Not sure about John Simm as the master yet, it was a bit hyper, and I don't think we really need a battle of the Timmy Mallets"

I caught a bit of the Confidential, and they said that was something to do with the regeneration process.
It's not a stable process, so he goes a bit manic for a while.
I think he'll settle down. He looks pretty calm (and, indeed, menacing) in the clips from next week's show.

That should work fine, Floyd.
Unless you're using Jen's CD player.
