That sucks, Doctor. My girlfriend's brother did himself in the same way.
There's not a lot anyone can do if he won't let himself be helped.

So what other ways do you guys use to provide clarity between foreground and background art?

Heavy dotted lines all the way! :D

It's also a knockoff of a classic old (ish  -70's/80's?) Batman story, which I've referenced here, ooh, loads of times. Basic premise is "group of kids sit around telling wildly differing tales of the time they saw Batman. Turns out they're all true - just filtered through each kid's personal perception of the situation". In the original story, which I read in an old annual as a kid (hence me placing it as late 70's/early 80's), one kid saw him as a supernatural, vampiric figure, one saw a tough Luke Cage-ish black guy in tights, etc. In the anime version, well, I'll let you find out for yourself, but it's still a pretty cool story. Still preferred the comic version, though.

perhaps become a male gigolo to finance buying a new tank?

(Or don't you have the mangina for it?!)

This may sound naive, but aren't all gigolos male?

He does look a bit like Alan Grant though...

Chaos was, as you rightly say, awesome.
Did you ever play Lord of Chaos?

Nothing too complicated. I referred to my boss as a "syphlitic old whore" and she took it to heart. The evening went downhill from there really.

My comment was in a joke context but that in no way excuses it.

That sounds like it could get quite complicated, to be honest, Tips! The perils of alcohol, eh? Hope she's seen the funny side by Monday! :)

...it's even more obvious who is new and who has been here for years.

Not in my local. I wear a t-shirt that shows how many pints I've ever drank there. :)

All my banking documents have just been scattered everywhere by a freak gust of wind, so now I'm having to gather them up into a pile using this broom, so I can sort them out.
