Here are some kids paying homage to Dredd also.

I was actualley most impressed with their Monty Python and the Holy Grail at the start. ( Hand turning the pages of Book.)

That was very cleverly done.

I like this one better.

I looks like cutscene footage taken from a arcade game, I think. Though, I don't recall this one.

Now, I think the uniform here is just about perfectly spot on. Just like from the comic, though the helmet seems a loose fit.

The acter doesn't quite have right look about him. Doesn't really fill shape of Dredd.

Despite Joe Dredd's supposedly being inspired partly from Clint Eastwoods Dirty Harry. It just doesn't do the lawman any justice when this actor decided that this is best way to do his voice. Just like Dirty Harry. I could almost imagine him saying next.....

I would to to do that Demarco one. In fact., I may attempt it. Though, I don't epect to do any justice to the artists original work.

Actualley, that last one looks tempting as well.

It's just very supicous how they all seem to have one hand hidden, syanding so close to each other there..

This reminds me of a photograph I got somebody to take of me snow sking in the snowey alps of New South Wales.

I was going over small jump and I hadn't quite perfected landing anywya. The photo was taken while I was still airborne and it looked cool.

A moment later, I was on my ass.

Can they?

Last time I compared BloodRayne to Durhnam Red I was assured ( By one of the officiial people on this messageboard.) that they have no ties with each other but their similarity.

Though I was sure that Durhnam Red is sometimes known as BloodRayne in 2000AD

Anyway, do you really think 2000AD have a case agaisn't Mr Boll or the people that made both these games.

No, just the normal demo.

Come to think about it, I think might have taken the link down since the game has been around for awhile.

Games / Where's the fricking demo.

While trawling the World Wide Web looking for interesting things.

I happened across the BloodRayne Two  demo. Which sounded interestingm seeing as I have played the original game.

The only thing is that I can't find the place or the icon you click onto to download this file.

Unless I'm missing the most obvious place, I would say that there's no demo when they have advertised one.

Books & Comics / "The Last of the Viking Heroes'
27 May, 2007, 02:20:33 PM
I'm paying homage to the work of one Michael Thibodeaux. Who writes, as well as Inks and draws his own comics.

Is that rare?

I think it was in the golden years of when I was in the habit of buying about a dozen comics at once ( All of them not nesscarily under the same brand name.) any time I went to the international comic book store in the city. That I found this comic called 'The Last of the Viking Heroes' with the  caption just above the title asking 'Is there a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle among them?'

As this was a time when those Eastman and Laird comics were also doing the rounds as along with all the other hype surrounding the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movie. Iwas intrigued enough to purchase this.

Volume two, a summer speical. From what I could tell of reading just this one comic it. It's just the one of many tales of these Midgard warriors, with a supposedly false wizard and his physically adept barbarian ally ( Who is probably based on Conan.) thrown into the mix.

While drawing and colouring style isn't that  advanced and complex by today's standards. I still think it stands up. The way it's all put together is very charming and a pleasure to read/look at the pictures again as I have been sorting through all my old and new comics these last two days. I'm just sorry I didn't buy more of these when they were in circulation. Though they may have a whole set of these in old comics section of the very same store where I brought it brand new in the first place.

Not that I really did like it at the time. There is a certain something about Simon Harrison artwork on Johhny Alpha.

He does vaguely like, Paul Stanley ( The lead singer from Kizz.) there.

Would I sound biazed. If I listed all the artists that have drawn Slaine. Barring the fellow who's last name is Pugh. I also was'nt too hot on the artwork done for what parts of the 'Grail War' I have collected. Of the other artists who have done some of the other shorter Slaine episodes that I had missed out on all together. Not too sure about those.

Talbot, Bolland,( Sorry I forgot the first names.) Massimo and the other person who have drawn for Nemesis.

Carloss Esquerra who draws for Strontium Dog. only the older version though. I don't like the way he draw Johhny Now or Judge Dredd now.

There is quite of alot of 2000AD artwork that I do like and is therefore my reason for buying the magazine.

I could go on listing them, but I won't as I think only asked for my absolute favorite.
