More big cat pictures.....

No guns either....

BTW...I think they should alter the trailer and probably re-think voices. Sounds the cave man's voice croaks out Whinger right at the beginning and was wondering this they got in a professional linguist to figure out how early man/woman talk the talk. Being partially fictional game, and the fact that you could get away with making a lot of stuff up if you didn't know how things were back then exactly. Even the developers admit this in one of there making of videos. The only thing I really like is how they co-ordinate attack against the mammoth and took it down without digging a spiked pit trap and driving into that. Better than wolf-boys and girls from the latest installment of The walking Dead.

I have them all up to the third one and including Blood Dragon via Steam.

I though the first one was atrocious and the second one much improved. I played Blood Dragon for a bit and didn't come back to it because of the complicated logging in I needed to do continue playing it and the third game was okay although it seemed like everything was staged, then was the weird system for learning new skills coupled with earning tattoes. Apart from that, I will get back to the game some time. I had to remove it because I had been playing it on my fathers rig and then he needed it back.

First person can be a bit sassy and I hope they  included option for second person perspective wise.

See also: I'd reckon that anyone who owned more than five Star Wars figures in 1983 absolutely knew for a fact that Darth Vader had sustained his horrific injuries by falling into a lava pit after a light saber duel with Obi Wan. But how did we know this?

First action figure  I ever brought was Power-Droid.....

Last one I ever got was Lak Sivak...

I must have got the first one roughly some time during the time of one of the first two films. I just have a vague memory of picking that little droid, because general interest in that type of thing and not so much with Star Wars, but I'm still a fan. While the last one was a recent purchase made during the last couple of years through a search on Ebay. Which came from general interest in Were-Wolves (Yous should know that!) and now I'm wondering if George Lucas was short on alien props and borrowed a Wolf-Man mask or suit to top of the ranks of other weird and wonderful aliens.

In between those, I have R2D2, Darth-Vader, (Missing his cape and Light-Sabre!) Bossk, Greedo, (Weapon Lost and was my favourite, used to carry it around everywhere. Use to pretend he was mer-man type of creature!) IG88, (Weapon Lost!)  2 or 3 Storm-Troopers, (In Snow-Trooper Armour and without their weapons!), Recon-Droid (From ESB and it's kind of broken!) and Chewbacca, (Which got a cracked head after carrying it around in my back pocket and sitting on it!)

My favourite ones are the Max Rebo in his circular keyboard set up, Sy-Snootles on microphone and the big fat dopey looking alien again with a wind instrument that went missing as well!)

These are a favourite of mine as well.

As for rest, which I might as well add on.....

Milleinium Falcon model made from plastic that needs to be assembled and glued together. I think the legs might be retractable, the satellite dish swivels, the cock-pit has little plastic figures of Han and Chewie glued to the seats inside and it lights up inside and the semi-circular repulsar set-up round the back lights up as well.  I think my father and I got most of this finished or fully completed. Otherwise I don't know why we might have stopped working on that bucket of bolts.

Some motorbike like conveyance shaped like a aero-plane or boat shaped pod on two roller shaped wheels (You might think it's a Law-Master that was built for riding on snow.) It's obviously a vechile from ESB and the strange about it is that it's top-heavy until you press down on the thing. The wheels spread out at both ends for a steadier ride and would spring back up again as soon as I took my hand off of it. I don't remember anything like this in the film or any of them.

Last thing is a model of one of those AT-AT's from ROTJ that also needed to be assembled and glued together. At some stage, I just stuck a sticker of a coat of arms from some other medieval themed model toy that I had been given by my parents. (In case the Imperials had it stolen by some Feudal-faction!)  It was broken last time I saw it and might have been thrown out.

That's all I got for that Sci-Fi franchise and now, I wondering The Cosh thought that Star-Wars action figures directly proportional to the brain cells of their owners or a replacement for Midichlorians of their owners. I better explanation for source of power of the force in my opinion.

After going back into the room where I keep the action-figures as a after thought.....

I also found I have a Gamorian-Guard (Vibro-Axe Missing (NO accusation of theft here as these things are just very easily lost!) Whom, I had always thought resembled the Orcs from that Dungeons & Dragons cartoon back in 80's!)

The three Ewoks, The shamanistic like one with the skull-head dress (Like Cathbad drawn by Glen Fabry!) and striped fur, a larger one that must be the chieftain (I think he was called Chief Chirpa!)and the little one that was befriended by Leia. I could ask of you for their names, but I could just as easily look it up.

Yoda another favourite. Small, green, (Quite possibly belong to a more star-bound race of dwarves that got separated from the close relatives of Ukko!) and after removing the plastic belt and cloth robe he was always seen to be wearing. He's got this brown outfit that looks like it was based on a friars outfit. The orange snake he always had draped around his neck is the only accessory I have left of this aside from the action figure it self. The plastic belt and walking stick, plus the cloth robe. Most possibly lost or thrown out. Otherwise, I'm not sure who steal something like that. We had Star Wars themed dress up party with this this youth movement organisation that meet up once a week and teach camping, survival and other outdoor skills as well as outdoor games more commonly known as Cubs/Scouts/Rovers all started by some fellow called Lord Badin Powell. Well, I had one of those flimsy plastic  Yoda masks and had my mother stich me a white robe. I just wore a track suit and put on the robes and had this belt to hold it together and fallen tree branch for a walking staff. I was the tallest Yoda even at age nine or ten. I only ever remember some else dressed as Darth-Vader.

This forum really needs a multi-quote function like they do on the Frontier Forums and like how this one now has it's onw Search-Function

Quote from: Tiplodocus on 20 October, 2015, 01:47:57 PMDid we need Legolas' dad to explicitly tell him to go "seek out a ranger?".

I could almost have lived with that (after emitting a little groan of despair), but he goes on to say "Strider, they call him" - thus gutting the (tenuously potential) suspense of whether Strider is a goodie or baddie in Fellowship, in the very unlikely event that someone tries to watch all six for the first time in order and actually gets that far.  Never mind that Aragorn is just a child at the time (in the books at least - there's some question over Jackson's timeline, since he compresses the Fellowship storyline by about a decade, and thus Aragorn could conceivably be in his 20's at the time of BotFA), and while he may well be known to the elves due to his lineage and having grown up in Rivendell, he certainly hasn't had time to earn the local nickname of a suspicious wanderer in the borderlands.

Didn't you know, it's a fact that young Aragorn (As a mere boy!) was known as the very first Numenorean to have completed Middle Earth - Shadow of Mordor (On his Valar made X-Box One!) and it was this alone that afforded him the appellation of Strider - Greatest Ranger of the free lands and beyond. That way, he able to be the man he was suppose to be before he actually became a man.

and then....

Myself, I was personally offended by the injury shown here, and then noticed it was the skull of the Sabre-Cat. Then I thought association the big cat made it that much cooler.

More about the Power-Droid, it was either lost or stolen as I had always kept them all in a shoe-box somewhere and now have them on a shelf.

I really upset about this as it did mean quite a lot to me and have since had it replaced with another I got via Ebay and it came to me in little plastic zip line bag and not the blister-pack glued to some flat cardboard backing with a photo of the real droid as well. At least it was in the same condition, maybe even the same one. Who knows......

IS that Death Star??? And why Oscar Isaac looks horrible!

Death Star....that big one and you know what I might be talking about there.

Are Leia partially obscured behind Han and was wondering if there are any better shots of her.

Pity about Luke unless he's one of the armoured troopers (Which I really doubt!) or that other guy who is always wearing armour and cloak like Vader.

Somebody want to but the latest trailer up there...I know I have seen it trice and still undecided what I think of it.  Like, I like the brief clip of the Falcon being chased by some Imperial ships and pretty close to ground (Just like I used to drive!) of some desert canyon.

I'm going to look of more pictures of Leia.

Games / New Far-Cry Game looks interesting..

Mostly because time has been rolled back about 12000 years to the stone age.....

Far-Cry-Primal

Like I read it somewhere that isn't just insanity to do the same thing over and over again.

Which is why this one is different.

Film & TV / Re: The Walking Dead - Season 6 - SPOILERS
20 October, 2015, 12:07:53 AM
Didn't think much of the first episode of this season...(Last week!) with black & white flash backs that did more to confuse me than tell a better story.  Because to me, that never been a established way of telling their story and should never have ben used experimented with.

This week, is more back to normal stuff and while still in Alexandria. The turtle eating girl, didn't bother me so much as the fact that she did it eat it raw so much like the real stars of this show....the Walkers. I vaguely remember Derl peeling the skin off large snake being the grosses thing he ever did. Yet, he did at least cook the thing and had me wondering if it was real or just a authentic prop made from silicone. Her was foam or resin fill with real chicken meat that she had to eat. That's what the young actress said on The Talking Dead who spend some time with the viewers discussing the that last episode with the likes of Kevin Smith and Paul Bettany who I found to be really good liars.

The so called Wolves who turned out to be bunch of young men or boys that would give any Apex-Predator a bad name. Should have been called.....

Orcs.....

Ogres....

Trolls.....

Perhaps that's just too fantasy related and while I have never  gotten to know real wolves to make a  accurate enough comparison. I 've never thought would be violent for the sake of violent, but rather because they might have run out of their usual prey and have now targeted people as food. These boys were just killing people and expecting that alone to give them a strong affliation with noble beasts who might still tear me apart for entering their hunting grounds and I still don't get it.

About Rick's first human contact within the shows first season after he returned to his neighbourhood. A lone wandering bo-stick fighter he was never established as and supposedly he was taught that stuff by a cheese-maker within the intervening time between being left behind (And this not against his will!) in a small town rigged with booby-traps and early last season when he returns. Very unlikely, even though sound kind of cool.

One last thing, this series has become more and more about one certain female character who in my books looks a bit too grey around the temples to be this one and should died to the walker she gave herself to out of some latent suicidal tendency. I really wish some form of reality would rear it's head and take her out of the show for good and in case you don't know.... this is about Carol. Poorly cast and her persistence to exist is like a raised middle finger in my face each time I tune into this long-winded series.

Film & TV / Re: Last movie watched...
18 October, 2015, 03:20:04 PM
Watched this Australian film called Satellite-Boy about these young boys who travel from they're tribal land to city to appeal to owner of some development company to not build on their land. They're most commonly called Aborigines where I later learned that just Australian Natives might be more accurate. Otherwise, there is no one name for these people who to my knowledge don't have a better name to be known by because they're a many tribes that have just many dialects of their own language. Probably a reason it's never been taught at schools. There is no such thing as Australian-Native-Basic this probably goes as well for Africans and American and Canadian Indians.

I won't give much more away about this film other than you don't know how dangerous these young boy become when they make petrol bombs to throw at a old beat up van left out in the middle of no where and when one of them finds a loaded gun inside house that had it's door left open by the owner when they weren't there.

The terms Walkabout and Dream-Time could be used to described their journey and their hidden wisdom when they're bike tyres get punctured by some broken glass thrown off the back of a passing truck.

One of them sticks some dried grass into the inner-tube and it's fixed and they continue on they quest.

Weird Science classic film from the 80's with a very imature Robert Downey Jr and Anthony M. Hall and that fellow who was one of the well known henchmen from Mad Max Two. Still sporting a impressive a Mo-hawk and wearing something very similar to his get up from the cult [b[]Australian[/b] film. Kelly Le Brock is very well known in this one and the only I might tolerate her smarmy femi superority are looks and physique, but only back in those days. I almost forgot Bills Paxton who I can't find much fault with after finding his bed room snowing on the inside.

Euro-Trip The cast entirely unknown to me except for a more attractive and mature Michelle Trachenberg. My only reason for not liking her in was the way she had been magically inserted into the Fourth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and her almost unfathombly long neck. She had shown definite signs of improvement here as one of her male buddies searches for love of good foreign woman, along with her twin brother and somebody else. I'm not talking about anything rude here unless you count their passing through Amsterdam on the way to Berlin after the main protagonist's much younger brother using his superior knowledge of the German language decipher dirty transcript he though he had be receiving from some German guy which turns out to be coming from his very attractive sister. So, he takes atrip with his friends to find his woman. I could on and on about stuff that appeals to me and recognised in this film, but will just stop here. I didn't know if he got his girl in the end or what. You know how I watch these films these days.

Almost watched another Bill Paxton and Charlise Theron film about giant gorilla but it was just few moments before I found something else to watch. Although, I did watch almost in it's entirety a few months early this year and had made plans to share my review here with yous, but kept procrastinating about this. All I know now, is that attractive blonde made some allusion to her future role in Monster while sitting in the passenger seat of a conveyance with the villain of the piece. A classic European example who also in the film above this one. I also had some parallels running between this film and Mad Max Four - Fury-Road. This beauty has aged well.
