How much longer have we got to go?

So, it's true then.

I've just read somewhere that Satanus is Black Tyranosaur. What ever that means, That could be his colour or it's genus.  Sort of like Black Orc. Anyway my reasons for using green were that I assumed that was the right colour and it's the only colour I have seen Satanus in when it has been drawn in colour. Well it's more sort of lots of green dots mixed with red and black, bnut mainluy green.

Anyway with the way I did the painting, it was dark in places and I think it looks more effective green than just black against a black and red background.


By the way, I've just done a quick sketch of the Ion Duke ( No one else has, yet.), one of those chameleon Gothic aliens. I might do a slightly better one later on. Problem is here, I already drew half his face before I realised I ran out of screeen. It's rather distorted as I had fun doing the angles.

I was wondering what would do for good picture of one of the Gothic Aliens.

I think they are chameleons really.

I know it's got some tall muscler bald headed guy, possing in it. Hasn't it.

Saw this in my local bookstore and was gonna buy one day.

Didn't Glen Fabry put out a book on how to draw people, monsters and stuff like he does.

Hopefully, Satanus doesn't have anybody confused as to it's true intentions this time around.

Those dark hollow things above the mouth are nostrils, not eyes, in case your wondering.

I did try for eyes, but ended up running of screen.

Hey, I thought. Looks more effective this way.

Oh, I use colour to embellish and also cover up lack of detail.

Also, the graininess, is another by-product of some art software. This is covering up the fact that I neglected to add detail such as lizard scales. Which I haven't quite got the hang of  yet. I'm drawing another Satanus ( Right now.) with what I hope will turn out to be a facial expression more typical to him.
