It's a double edged sword nowadays as you never know if you're going to get a knife in the chest or your head blown off over a parking space.

I came across the same situation while living in Edinburgh. I was walking along Rose st when some piss head was laying into his GF/Wife. I dont like guys hitting the fairer sex so went over and put him on his arse. No sooner had I turned round to help the lass up that I got a handbag in the puss with rants of "Here whit yae dein tae my man?" and she went at it with me with all nails flapping.

What could I do but get her in a half nelson put her down next to the prick, tell them "They deserve each other" and walk off.

Some people deserve a good kicking.

And a vey young Pierce Brosnan in the Carpathian Eagle episode.

Ive got the series and must admit it had lost the shine that it had when first viewed when i was a cub.

BTW the Hammer House is having a bit of a revival with a new series in the pipeline.

I must admit after reading Ministry of Space I would have loved a follow up Dare story by Weston.

By the way I just bought Dan Dare The Man From Nowhere yesterday and it's bloody amazing.

I just hate Three month cliffhangers (Rogue Planet isn't out till August)

Well he really inspired me when I was a youngster reading his Slaine stories. I even copied a few for my art class (and got a bollocking off my teacher lol)

Ezquerra (before his Digital art)

Cam Kennedy (before he went weird with Dredds chin)

My all time favourite is

Colin Wilson. I loved his work since seeing Rogue Trooper.

Maybe it was "La Bete"

http://labete.7hunters.net/

It could also have been a Wild Boar?

I know near where I live (Outside Durham) there was alot of attacks on local sheep that was blamed on some kind of Big Cat that had alegedly escaped from a Circus that had recently been and not wanting to get into trouble the ringmaster decided not to report it.The cat was never caught. But then again the last wild boar was supposedly killed in my town. Was it? could they still exist? All I know is one night as me and an old GF were walking home from a local event back to my village we stopped and looked down onto the old mining railtrack. What we saw really sobered us up quickly and made us quicken our pace back to a more populated area. That was over twelve years ago and I've never ventured down that area since.

With Big Cats being fashionable "Accessories" to the rich it's possible that alot get turned loose to run free.

Like the saying goes "If you hear a branch snap. Do not investigate".
