>Origins goes from strength to strength, with the return of Guess Who...? Somehow Wagner is managing to tie up all the mangled continuity of just who was running the judges at what time, back in the early days.

Hardly surprising.

>Bit worried about Volg continuity here.

It's Pat Mills.

Well it's not a particularly good book anyway so it needs a few changes.

Help! / Re: HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray

I don't believe there will be an outright winner in this case. It's not the same as the beta Vs Vhs argument in the 80's.

Since the discs themselves are so cheap to produce there is room on the market for both formats like in the gaming industry.

Blu Ray offers a whole lot more in terms of storage which is great for archiving and production applications.

Remember, Beta tapes did not go away or disappear -they just vanished from the consumer market- but became the format of choice for broadcast and production and the modern equivalent of beta, "digi beta", is still the highest standard in most  use in broadcast or production facitlities today.

It's the red camera alright but the point is that eventually they'll stop selling ordinary hi-def tellys so everyone will eventually have an ever higher spec one due to the market always pushing to sell the new "thing".
