It boasts 4000 lines as opposed to 1080 of blu-ray/hi-def.

I think your a bit late with this news, it's been shooting for the past several months. In fact it may even be in post production now.

There are 23 parts to Origins as Logan has stated -Wagner only wrote 23 parts-and the last episode is scheduled to appear in the birthday issue 1526 which is 8 progs away. Matt Smith said the last episode coincided with the anniversary issue in an SFX interview and this has also been stated in the solicitation for prog 1526.

The solicitations for progs 1527-30 don't mention Origins at all but other Dredd stories by Rennie "Tartan Terrors" and Wagner "Mutants in mega City One".

It looks more like a christmas cover than an anniversary one to me.
