I've never actually seen a Uwe Boll film, but the trailers do look so damned awful that I can't even bring myself to try. I'll enjoy a "so bad it's good" film any time, but his films don't even seem to muster up that much entertainment value.

Why devote your whole filmmaking career to game-to-film conversions?

I tried downloading one of the tracks and it's in a strange self-installing exe format. I didn't want to go any further cos I'm in work right now (and my French is a bit rusty), but what happens if I let it install?

On a side-note, this is pretty cool if you're a fan of the Galactica soundtrack, as I am; It's a clip from a live concert Bear McCreary did recently of music from the show. Worth a look.

Gotta disagree there Adventurer. It was a decent episode, but definitely not the best of the season, in my opinion. I'd put any of the Occupation and aftermath episodes (such as Collaboraters, brilliant), or Baltar's trial ahead of it. Or the mid season cliffhanger for that matter.

To be honest, there's a good chance my judgement is clouded here; I'm not the biggest fan of Katee Sackhoff as an actress. If Starbuck is the centre of attention for important storytelling reasons, like she has been for most of season 4 so far, I can deal with it (despite Sackhoff's "I'm dangerous cos I've got crazy eyes" schtick) but give me an episode where it's about her sorting out her relationship with Lee, such as Unifinished Business, and it's not going to win my vote.

I admit, it is getting more and more complicated, but I reckon they're holding it together nicely. The opening and closing scenes of Ep.7 were top notch too.

Anyone else still watching this? The last couple of episodes have been absolutely fantastic.

I've been reading that they're moving ahead with the Caprica prequel. This has been in the pipeline for a while, but they've made a few casting announcements over the last couple of days, so it seems to be moveing faster now. Some guy named Esai Morales will play Joseph Adama. The other characters they've announced aren't linked to BSG characters, but what I find odd is that one of the characters is: "....the mother of Zoe Graystone, whose likeness and personality are utilized to create the first Cylon in the SciFi TV-movie â??Caprica,â? a pilot prequel set 50 years before the events depicted in â??Battlestar Galactica.â?

Are they doing an Enterprise on us? I know I'm being geeky here (and proud of it), but the whole humans-looking-like-cylons thing was supposed to be something the Cylons evolved themselves that humans knew nothing about, now they're going to write it that it was designed from the beginning?

Leaving that aside, good episode ths week...

On a side-note, I got season 3 in the post yesterday, and among the extras (which seem to be much better than the previous seasons) is the "Ronald D. Moore version" of the episode Unfinished Business (the boxing episode) with 25 extra minutes of footage. The disk has the original episode and the alternate one as well. It seemed a bit weird that they'd pick out that particular episode to give the director's cut treatment to, given that it's hardly the best one of the season.

Yeah Fegbarr.... whatever about Adama giving Starbuck a ship, it seemed a bit odd to me that he'd also be willing to spare Gaeta, who seems to be one of the most important people in the command centre, as well as Helo, and all those other folks whose names I can't remember.

Makes one wonder: Was that Tory acting on her own, protecting the secret, or was she gone all "sleeper agent mode"? And has she now done a legger with the baby?

I noticed the 1701-D, but I totally forgot about Moore's connection. I thought it was just a little nod they had thrown in there.

Yeah.......whoa.

So, big spoiler question here: Can the Sixes, Sharons and Leobens (wish I could remember their numbers) really be dead? I'm guessing there are others elsewhere, or were they all on that ship? Also, naked Dean Stockwell coming out of the slime bath, I could have done without that. I guess they had to throw in a bit of equality, since we only ever see sexy ladies in there, but still....

Ahhhhh, yes, I remember now... I could remember the whole scene in the temple, where she was looking at the final five, just before she keeled over, but I couldn't remember whether she was trying to find out who all five of them were, or just the last one.

Much appreciated.

Intriguing episode this week. It did raise a question though, that  I can't quite remember from Season 3: The whole idea of the Cylons not actually knowing who the Final Five are, is that new? My memory is fuzzy. Still, I'm pretty sure that the idea of them not being allowed to contact the five is totally new, and makes things a lot more interesting.
