Also, this is a pleasant surprise, I thought it was going to be a much longer wait....

A dance mix is one thing, but I think there are a couple of text message alert tones right there... :D

Uh-oh, brace yourselves for another month-long media firestorm about the BBCs declining moral standards, etc, etc....

Quote from: "Mardroid"
I think Gaeta's future was hinted at in one of the webisodes. (I've only seen one, that one, mind.)

The Face of the Enemy one? Yeah, I think that was the turning point for him, although looking back, they've done a good job of building him up over the years into the kind of character who would conceivably do this, rather than having him do a complete turnaround. After seeing him on New Caprica, and losing his leg because of a Cylon, it's totally believable that he would be against any kind of treaty with them, and that he's been pushed too far.

I was reading a blog that pointed out a great scene in this ep; when the mutiny's just beginning, and both Starbuck and Lee try to call the CIC, only to have Gaeta cut them off. It really shows how much power he really has in a situation like that, and how he'd be able to organise the whole thing.
And, appropriately enough, as I was submitting my last message, I was notified about Godpleton's new message, so I guess that answers my question.

Yeah, it's hard to tell. Just once or twice yesterday I took a long time typing a message, posted it and there was one there that I didn't think was there when I started. I also noticed someone else adding something to the end of their message, along the lines of "*edit* I'm changing this because someone else typed the same thing" so I thought other people may have noticed it too.

But maybe I'm over analysing.....

I guess it all depends on how cool you make it look. The setting is a factor.....

Website and Forum / The "while you were typing" gadget?

Has the doohickey been turned off which notifies you when you click "submit" that, while you were typing your message, someone else posted one? I can't be certain but in the last day or two it seems like it's not working, and it's useful to have.

Quote from: "Uncle Umpty"Why the director didn't step in to calm things down I don't know, which makes me think he wasn't there so it may have been a rehersal or second unit or whatever.

The director was there, you can hear Bale say something along the lines of "McG, are you gonna do something about this?", and McG cowardly/wisely says "I didn't see what happened." Way to direct, McG....

Quote from: "Goaty"
Could likeable Gaeta's changing the sides? and girl of Baltar's witnessed that Tom Zarek kills a man. Will that bring up later in series?
Oh, I doubt he's gonna "nice guy" his way out of this.

Quote from: "TordelBack"Hugh Laurie's House accent is indescribably bad - it just makes me think of Bertie Wooster going undercover.

I think that's the issue with some people's attitude to Laurie/House; He's such an English figure that to hear him do an American accent chaps the ass. I've heard people who weren't too familiar with Laurie as an actor prior to House say they weren't aware he wasn't American.

Quote from: "The Cosh"Have you ever heard McNulty's real voice?

I don't know, I've seen him in a few different films, doing various accents, but never in an interview so I don't know if I've heard his normal accent. Is it anything like his cockney Cromwell accent when going undercover?

I always though Hugh Laurie did a pretty flawless American accent. I will say though that Colm Meaney as an American in Con Air just didn't sound right. Maybe he's just too Irish.

Speaking of American accents, I didn't even realise the guy playing Carcetti in The Wire was actually Irish until someone pointed it out to me.
