Quote from: "garageman"I think so and she's in ep 3 as well, I believe, but will you recognise her?

Okay, that may require some elaboration....
She wasn't one of the 1954-era Others was she?
Film & TV / Cheap DVD sites.....no, no, wait!

I'm looking for an opinion on various dvd sites such as //http://www.dvdorderonline.com or others along the same lines. They advertise cheap dvd box sets at pretty good prices, but the sets are usually region free, which strikes me as a little odd, and the packaging in the photos doesn't look like anything I've seen for the same dvds on other sites. So I'm wondering does anyone have any experience with these sites? Are they legit, or cheap knockoffs?

Quote from: "TordelBack"The pitiful Star Trek V has two things going for it: the marshmallow dispenser.....

Was I hearing it wrong all those years, or did they always refer to it as a "marshmelon"?

I didn't know that. Still, even an unofficial googlewhack is surprisingly difficult.

Not often I come across a word I've never heard before, and I'm always keen to expand my vocabulary, so I googled this word - the ONLY link was to your post above!

Devons Daddy just created a googlewhack! :D

Quote from: "Uncle Umpty"Can I be really, really sad and point out that Kirstie Allie (or at the very least Saavik) is half Vulcan, half Romulan.

I never knew that. Dang, that's a slap in the face of my supposed Trek wisdom.

Not that I'm complaining, but 7of9, ex-borg drone, rediscovering her humanity, chooses to do so in skin-hugging spandex?

Like I said, not complaining.....

whilst the trek stuff is full of holes, its still fine entertainment.

personally will be booking tickets online, for the first screening of this event. what ever happened to spending hours in the cold waiting outside the cinema anyway? progress they call it,

I don't think there's any full-on ill-speaking happening here, just kinda "yeah, I liked most of it except for XXXX". I'd say that's pretty positive overall.
