Clem Robins just recommended me for a lettering job.

Clem. Fucking. Robins.

It's only a one-off job, but it's Clem Robins!

Cheers

Jim
Ok.  That's bloody cool.

And well done to Fox, Satch and all the other folks who've had good news.

I'm off to view a flat this PM, first one it's looked like I can afford that ISN'T in the middle of nowhere and might leave me with a small chunk of inheritance for a rainy day after the bills are paid.

It's not exactly fantastic YET, more the promise of fantastic.  And all dependent on being able to sell THIS pile of poo.

Oh and the probate lawyer got his finger out, but still seems to have done little.  I could stab him, but it'd be illegal (it IS illegal right?  Even if they ARE lawyers?  Damn).

Still, nearly fantastic.

Fair enough I suppose.  Not sure it's exactly the greatest thread ever though.

McMahon wouldn't have been MY choice, but then I wouldn't bloody tell someone NOT to vote for him, I'd vote for MY favourite instead.  Tut tut tut.

So Colin, is your real name Sean?  *scratches head*

Nobody that I know of, but I was hoping that, seeing as Radiator had had the idea, he might like to do the honours.

I would too.  First - BLACKMAN! [/filthoff]

I say this is a tradition too cool to be left in the past.

Agreed.

This thread has, not to put TOO fine a point on it, saved my life near as damn it.  A chance to vent and to hear that, no, you're not crazy for being sad/upset.  It's horrible as a catalogue of sad things that can happen, but it's great because of the support we can give each other.  This is simultaneously my least favourite thread and the one I think does the most good and has the most positive message.  Long may it continue.

I'm kind of hoping that some resourceful, publicly-minded Squaxx not to far from here who's NOTICED this has already done so....

Double posts are sometimes unavoidable because of the edit time limit.  Nothing wrong with that so long as it doesn't get out of control.

Yeah, that is pretty evil.  But I like it.

A friend on my facebook seems to genuinely believe I think that Tharg is a green alien.  My response is, naturally, OF COURSE I DO.  I see his picture every week.  Tchuh!

And they're identical (as much as any two organisms will be) in the real world too (although younger than the host.

And it's not the colours that are different, it's the actual pattern of the iris.  For the same reasons that twins don't have identical fingerprints.

If it's a GOOD old thread that may have been needlessly forgotten, I say fair enough.  But there are times when the dead should be left in their graves.

I'll be sure to give them your number Roger.  *makes bedroom eyes*

Who needs your mother when I've got you?

I don't think anybody outside of Star Wars or Judge Dredd actually expects a clone to demonstrate even a similar personality to it's host, are we?
