Demon Killer?

So there's a chance that, ropey as some of them were, the time-travel/reincarnation storylines will be reprinted?  Good.  Slaine deserves a complete run being available.  Thryllseeker will be chuffed.

The auidios happened along just about the time I was starting to be unfaithful to Tharg - having discovered them late, I'm eager for more.

By the by, there were ones released that aren't up on the Big Finish site.  Now I understand they might not have CD copies available, but what about downloads?

Thanks for the pointer, Dangermouse.  Appreciate it.

They say religion is like a big dog - if it's yours, it gives comfort and security; if it's someone else's it can be scary; and in either event it should be kept away from small children.
A friend of mine says religion is a bit like a big winkle - fun to have but you'll get in trouble if you ram it down people's throats.

Man, all the groovy folks in the bus AND all the fine folks who'll be there otherwise. This is going to be amazing. Can't wait.

Despite being members of a crack squad into Sov territory to detroy East Meg One, being burnt to bits by the Siters of Death/crushed by a Manta and returning to save the city from the Dark Judges together and numerous other exploits the reaction to Dredd and Anderson are incredibly different.

PERP (on seeing Dredd): "Ah, Dredd, even you cannot stop my improbable doomsday device/plot to take over the city/robbery of a Hottie House!  Mwahahahahaha!!!!!"

PERP (on seeing Anderson): "Judges!  Scramola!"

CITIZEN (on seeing either): "Thank Grud you're here, Judge!  I've been robbed/organ legged!"

Hey PJ - these were good, my compliments to the chef.  I know your hosting moved, but how do I get to hear the later ones?

I'm an itunes user you see, if it's not laid out for me on a slab then normally I don't want to know (insert necrophillia reference here) but I'm prepared to actually click and even TYPE to get the later ones (although I'd rather subscribe obviously).

That's impressive, Matt.  Roy Castle couldn't show that much dedication.  If it had been in something faintly READABLE then fair enough, it's duty.

But THE STAR?  Utter rag.

Dante will be TRYING to be very good.  And then, for some unavoidable (wink wink) reason he ends up smooching with some other bird "it was all in the line of duty, honest!" and it will scupper him with Jena for at least six months - at which point she will forget his phillandering ways and start thinking he might not be a complete ass after all.

Rinse.  Repeat as desired.

Film & TV / Re: Did you have a chair stuck to your arse?

I was participating and hoping it'd work - otherwise what's the point of even bothering to play along but no.  Although I was surprised that I felt "sticky" in relation to my chair.  Very odd feeling.

For me the highlight of the show was the explanatory piece in Hamleys with the giraffe named Frank.  Swore blue murder at the screen loudly.  Very good.

steamroller jobbies.
Unpleasant image.

That image in general involves a droid I can't help but call Scat-Quake shrieking "BIG JOBBIES!"

I wouldn't pay it any mind, TS.

If folks are "ignoring" you, what it really means is they disagree with you about something (or many things) and either can't express that or have decided it's better to avoid an argument.

Either way, I'm not bothered about folks ignoring me if it keeps this board the friendly place it is.  It isn't personal.

Don't want another ScoJo Moment after all.

I've given up trying to work out what most of the avatars are meant to represent.  Except the obvious ones, naturally.  Does anyone have a good story about theirs?

....

Ok.  How about a story?  Anyone?  *tumbleweed moment*
