Hurray!  All is calm, all is bright and another happy day in Twothtown comes to an end. *image of sun with mean angel's gurning face setting behind landfill site hills of rubbish accompanied by lullaby-style music played by Nemesis on that pandemonium thingy*

Yeah, I watched teletubbies recently with my nephew.  AND?

(MEN arena - sounds like a nightclub *snort, chuckle*)

Hope the mp3 player isn't too damaged and, if I failed to welcome you initially (dreadful oversight on my part) then welcome aboard.

Group hug you guys.

Bum.  I'd leave the country on principal although given the ridiculous nature of the questions set in a citizenship test I'd claim this country needed me desperately.  I don't know too many people who could be confident about knowing those, did they just pick questions out of the air?

Hey... just to let you know.
Just finished recording this. Have about 2 hours but by the time I cut out all the stuff that would get us lynched it should be around our usual 90 minute mark. Got most of the questions in, apologies though as I think we asked one or two without crediting the original asker.. our bad.

Thanks again to My Holden for coming on and being such a cool f***er! Was a really good laugh which I hope will come across.
Hoping to get it up by the end of the week
Nice, we all appreciate it. thanks Blue.

So when can Jim expect to see his tenner?

Well, let's all have a cup of tea to celebrate then.  Goodness me, silly boarders getting all grumpy with each other *tut tut* I've a good mind to put you all over my knee.  Shake hands, that's it.

Now, who's for a slice of victoria sponge with their tea?

I'm off for a go right now.  Wish me luck, I don't want to have to go and live in any of the countries I've badmouthed for their hygeine/foreign policy/food/women.

Calm down, digitalworlds, there's a good person.  It's not worth getting so irate over.  I'm under the impression that the decision hasn't been taken just yet and this is a conversation regarding whether or not we the readers think splitting the series into 2000ad and Meg is a good idea.

Personally I don't agree with the idea of "splitting" either, but I've yet to hear anything from Rebellion as to their plans.

I'd LIKE it if they made these so-called "Complete" volumes a tad more complete regarding specials, annuals, newspaper strips etc.....

some events in AvP 2 were morally deplorable.
Those were the bits I liked......

Nice.  So many folks like to moan at teh drop of a hat, it's good to see people praising good service just as vocally.

But how will Squaxx make those all important life decisions about their partners health or their contraceptive surgery without being able to call on the collective knowledge a random collection of socially awkward strangers who share the same hobby?
Hey hey HEY!!!!!  Now wait JUST a minute!

We shared stories about amusing intimate injuries on that thread too.  To hear you tell it, DXB, it sounds crass, vulgar and childish behaviour from social inadequates......

........

Yeah, ok.

Nice Kerrin.  Dialogue is a tricky thing to get right, everyone sounded like themselves and I grinned.  So job done I reckon.

Alien was great.  No question.

Aliens.... well, less so.  A different TYPE of film.  By definition if you have LOADS of them there's less tension concerning where it is.  So a bit mindless, a bit gung ho but fun.

Alien 3 - well, the theatrical version stank to high heaven.  The extended thingy on the DVD made much more sense and raised a dire movie with some good bits and nice ideas to something that (to me at least) beat the Cameron-directed moron-fest.

4?  Awful.

v Predator 1 and 2?  Yawn.

What I'm getting at is this - does anyone other than the most rabid fan boy still care?  I'm not sure even Ridley Scott's involvement will get me to buy a ticket.  Not unless I start hearing OTHER interesting things between now and opening.  A bunch of elephant faced creatures are going to be a little difficult to get a whole movie out of for me.

Don't bother with Forbidden Planet myself - too many bad experiences but my local store has Case Files coming this week (should ACTUALLY be there already - excited!!!).  S/D action is predicted through my letterbox late this week from the mono-globed ones.  Yawn....

All I wanted was reading material to make the swine flu go easier.  Now fully recovered....  *sniff*  'Snot fair!!!

I'm ok now.

I'll be seeing my retailer tomorrow and shall INSIST upon him ordering me one.  And I shall point his browser at the site and show him why it ought to be MORE than just the one.

Least I can do in return for the freebies.  Looking forward to the inevitable collection (whoever ends up publishing it).

Me too.  The "Can I eat you?" speech balloon might be a little giveaway though.....
