I always like the bit when the Nostromo explodes in Alien.

This Strontium Dog tale has seemed extremely poor, but it might only be by comparison with everything else that's going on at the moment.

From 2000AD, I really can't decide. It's probably got to be Dredd, but Anderson, Middenface and Dante are all contenders.

Outwith 2000AD, I love Dane McGowan from The Invisibles. He swears, but he's the ascended Buddha. And he swears a lot.  Honourable mentions for Luther Arkwright and John Constantine.

Best comic book movie is Flash Gordon. No question. Followed by The Shadow.

I like Flow.

Just been reading the second Mean Arena EE and Matt Tallon's height is given as 2.7m. Which is around eight feet tall in the old money.

The year the story's set in also switches erratically between 2015 and 2025.

Ade, your interpretation of that Hellblazer script is markedly better than what was actually released.

A worthy winner; the one I'd've voted for. However, the real fun is seeing all the different interpretations and the different styles people are trying out. Cheers all for a lot of fun.

It's like a giant interactive Roger's Profanisaurus. Unfortunately, I have espied a blatant error in one of their definitions. To wit: "And everyone likes their pancakes with syrup..."

Sorry. No. Just butter for me. Unless you mean big, thin Shrove Tuesday ones in which case it's lemon juice and sugar thanks very much. Or cheese and ham (and optional egg) crepes. Yum. Any which way you slice it, I still don't like syrup.

I thought this had died out. A couple of my mates were regulars a couple of years back. A few dates, a few beers, but nothing serious ever came of it.
