Luther Arkwright was named for the two big engines of violent social upheaval in British history: Protestantism and industrialisation.

From the second Dolman story, it seems that the legality or otherwise of citizen's arrest stems from the appropriate use of force - Dolman is encubed for hitting a perpetual too hard, not for intervening.

Can't wait for the first post-match bath scene to see what sort of manscaping Mr Willsher has planned for Poor old Roy.

The Terror. ...

It's a bit like Shackleton vs. Shako with a sprinkling of H. P. Lovecraft. At ten episodes, some might think this series drags a bit but I enjoyed it immensely because most of the story concerns the characters and their various interactions.
Well, the book's at least 200 pages too long so it sounds like a faithful adaptation! There was some good stuff in there though, so maybe I'll give it a whirl at some point.

I think my first or second post on the boards was about how Simon Harrison is the best artist ever to appear in the Prog and I thought killing Johnny was the most badass thing ever so I could be the man you're looking for. If I was any good at writing.

Haven't seen the film (wasn't going to either, but positive WoM is wearing me down), but in the book the endless referencing and recycling of late 20th C nerd-culture is a significant (if deeply silly) aspect of the plot, rather than being gratuitous.
It is, but it's also exceptionally tedious.

The Golden House of Samarkand is out and, for the first time in this series, I have some slight niggles.
Where did you get it from? I've been refreshing my amazon links on a daily basis but still no joy.

For PS4 owners - at least in my neck of the woods (Australia) - Bloodborne is free to download via PS Plus (one of the March titles).  Never played this when it was released - so it's downloading as we speak.  The free titles don't normally interest me, but hey...it's a AAA title...worth a go!
Yeah, anyone who hasn't played this should grab it. It's an astonishingly good game. If I could stop playing Stardew Valley for more than ten minutes I'd maybe start another run myself.

I think I've read somewhere before that he prefers to ink and colour other people's art. On this showing that is a crying shame.
I think 'prefers' is a bit strong. I'm constantly badgering Dyl on social media to draw more strips (see also: Doherty, P.) but like the rest of us, the man has bills to pay. If you can get, say, £50/pg colouring and can do three pages a day, or £150/pg for drawing a page but it takes you more than a day to do it, the maths is pretty simple.

(All numbers invented for illustrative purposes.)
Fair enough. I was half-remembering stuff from ancient history.

Praise where it's due. I really didn't enjoy the last run of stories but this Prog was an absolute belter. Pretty much every story hit the mark. If I had to pick a highpoint it would be Dylan Teague's art on that Future Shock. I think I've read somewhere before that he prefers to ink and colour other people's art. On this showing that is a crying shame.

Is none of the Friday stuff in the Tales from Nu Earth trades?
No. It's the original continuity stuff only.
