About the song 'White And Nerdy' though it is funny I would take this as being racist against whites if it had been written/sung by the more conventional Rap Artists.

I find it more acceptable coming from Wierd Al Yankovic.

That would be missing the point of the song to a quite spectacular degree. It's taking the piss out of hip-hop's tradition of bombastic self-aggrandisement not white nerds.

And for the record, the music is a pastiche of "Ridin' Dirty" by Chamillionaire.

Chris Weston's version of Leatherjack?!

That would have rocked.

I simply can't believe people are whining about a bloody thought balloon. Okay, it's not the best drawn example, but it serves the very important purpose of letting us know that there have been previous attempts to find the remains of Fargo, but this time it's going to be different.

I also think a few people have missed the point of the Children of the Apocalypse. It's not an indication that this is going to be a fragmented, Cursed Earth road-trip type story. It's an attempt to reinforce on us the damage that's been done to the world and its lasting effects before we find out how and why it really happened. Am I the only one who finds it odd that their predominant mutation was multiple heads. A bit like that bloke in The Connection...

There also seem to be obvious corollaries between cloning and mutation: compare the Wiseheads with Nimrod. As well as the real history of the world, I fully expect Origins to bring some sort of the resolution to the whole Judda/Bloodline/Brothers of the Blood/Nimrod thread. And provide me with an equation for generating very large prime numbers.

My personal opinion - based on watching half an episode once while making my tea or repointing the brickwork or something equally unrelated - was that Darkplace was simply catastrophically tedious, unfunny garbage of the first water.

According to that site, Books of Invasions 2 isn't out until March, but Jon's just said on the other thread it's already been reprinted.

I Went Down is a cracking Irish gangster film which contains the immortal line:

"I'm not talkin' to you. 'Cos you're a cunt!"

Fegbarr. I think the child is named after the big, hairy, quarterstaff-wielding bloke in his back garden...

PS I agree with your analysis, but must add

4. When Robin knows he is dyig, he shoots an arrow through the window and decrees that where it lands is where he will be buried. Death is very important in old legends.

Watched it for the first time this week. It was inoffensive fun, although the heavy-handed Iraq War parallels did make me retch a bit.

Genre Test: My girlfriend said it was daft fun and she'd happily watch it next week.

I imagine the misunderstanding has something to do with searching for "Robin Hood" rather than "Robin of Sherwood."

Interesting that this particular printing error should spoil a story called Chiaroscuro.

For the record, mine is printed perfectly, but the postie fankled the bottom left corner quite badly.

1. Natsan. Cool pose, lovely colours.
2. Simon Penter. Very Dante.
3. Bolt & Rac. Great idea and very genuine sounding tagline.

Jim, do you now or have you ever owned a cassette tape copy of an album which you did not purchase but that your mate taped for you?
