Can anyone join the team. And does it actually make any difference to the game? If it's any use, I'm currently holed up in an old armoury which is jumping with shotgun shells.

Not an album cover, but this one was a pastiche of the classic NME "Bowie's Back" cover, which has been ripped off thousands of times over the years.http://www.2000adonline.com/covers/2000ad/thumbnails/590thumb.jpg">

I know, I know - worse things happen at sea.

Indeed. For example, did you know the title of Case Files 03 doesn't line up with the previous two?

No Prog for me yet either (for the first time since I took out a sub.) Does this make it a Greater Glasgow conurbation problem?

You need a holiday in Cambodia,
Don't forget to pack a wife.

A classic tune, but that line never made much sense.
The words to almost any New Order song are complete nonsense - as Barney generally makes them up in the  van on the way to the studio - yet always work in context.

Where are these Europeans immigrating into?

I used to have a cat who would scratch anything at all. She once got into the cupboard and had a good old go at the bits that stick out of the top of a whole longbox. GRRR!

Another thought. How can you tell the difference when the volumes are scattered across the floor and the cat's clawed half the lettering off anyway?

You're cracked.

Well, I thought I'd give it a go, but the search facility times out after 30 seconds, so I've only been able to get it as far back as Prog 1375. You can have it if you like, though.

Books & Comics / Re: Hellblazer-quite good?.........
08 April, 2006, 04:31:25 PM
I stopped reading Hellblazer after Ennis left it, so I'm probably not qualified to comment.

Actually, that's not quite true. I read the rubbish story that Eddie Campbell did directly afterwards and stopped buying in disgust.

Delano's run was good in bits, but had a tendency to get caught up in his usual, holier-than-thou eco-politics and ended with a nearly incomprehensible bit of extended Tarot symbolism.

Does anyone know why Amazon pages are always go 'Page has expired' when you hit the back button? gets on my breasts...

Not really, but if I was to have a wild guess, I'd say they were to trying to stop people bookmarking a page then trying to buy the item at the old price six months later.

Took me a while to get that (despite my icon's nickname of Il Pirata.) ;-)

No, I mean the kind of finishing where you get to the end of the game and kill the last big guy! You do have to carefully consider what order to buy the games in: an adventure like Shadow of the Colossus or a shooter like RT should easily be finishable in ten days, while something like Tekken or Burnout which requires a long time to master and unlock everything is best kept hold of.

although Game go for a competitive ?34.99

As I was trying to say...

I always find it's best to shop at Game. It's worth paying a couple of quid more for the fact that you can get a game, finish it then take it back and get another one with no questions asked.
